Yikes - Steelers Plane makes an emergency landing in KC

I only was on one Rejected Takeoff when I flew when the plane couldn’t reach V1 speed. While it was a bit nerve racking it was better to do that than to put the aircraft into the dirt. When I stated engine failures happen more than people think I am going by my experience from tearing down engines from failures due to anything from FOD to turbine blades separations to bearing failures. I have personally overhauled dozens of engines with such incidents. That being said Flying is way more safer than driving which I am certain you can agree with.

While driving is in My hands....flying is not. Again that's My only problem with it.

 

That used to be true, but with pilots forced to take clot shots these days? Maybe not.

Maybe why I have never left the States. LoL. Also because there are still many things in the states that I still haven't seen, or experienced. I have flown before.....I just really really hate it. Hell I've even been in a crop duster more than once, but I knew the Guy, and guess what....He has died since in a plane accident.

WOW. I kid you not yesterday I was thinking about what would a team do if they lost all their players in a plane crash. This is so bizzare. I have never ever thought about anything like this before. Sheesh.
