    Because that's what he was brought in to do. The Rooney's wanted more of a running game, BA didn't provide it, so they fired him and brought in a guy with a history of being able to design game plans around the running game

    GOd,

    That was to come sooner or later... they were not playing to win, they were playing not to lose. Right now I hate Tomlin, Halley and my degree of admiration for Ben is slowly but steadily going down.

    I see why Ben hates this offense. He never get to go 4 wides and the D knows exactly whats coming. Where can Paulson get.

    I would rather have a sack or two and play to win than this.

    I agree with Ben in some respect, our play calling seems to lacks imagination, is too conservative, and is highly predictable. You could run a drinking game off the "shotgun handoff run up the middle" play and get bombed in the first quarter.

    I've watched Mendy play since we drafted him. He's always played better than Redman currently is. He's much, much faster in every way than Redman is. Redman might be the slowest RB in the league

    It would be too early for concern if it hadn't been an ongoing problem. I'm all for being optimistic if there is uncharacteristic sloppy or ineffective play. But the performance so far is par for the course.
