Yeah who knows. I'm sure people had those same opinions of Derrick Henry who did far less his 1st 2 years than Najee did. Not saying Najee can be Henry but very hard to judge the steelers run game when the offense is so imbalanced.

See this shows You don't know what You are talking about. I defend things because they are true....not for an ulterior reason. Anyone, and everyone on this board knows I .....
    1. Didn't want Him in the 1st round.( it was a couple of CBs I wanted)
    2. I believe No RB, or Wrs should be taken in the 1st round.
    3. Anyone just trying to use a wee bit of common sense knows......what will a defense do against a team that they are not one bit afraid of the passing game???
So this whole thing makes nonsense of what You just said.
    4. It also matters who You want to believe....because some places are ranking the OL as middle of the pack....that's why I don't care what others say....I look with My own eyes.

Well Mikey gets his share of blame because he is the HC and oversees all plus MC is on his staff.

I am in total agreement with no RBs, or WRs in the 1st round. I would even say no TE in the 1st most years as well. I like the philosophy of take a QB, someone to protect the QB, or someone to get after the QB.

I actually think Wallace is better suited to be a #3 CB, I wouldn't want him covering either of the Bengals receivers.

I agree. Problem is we don't have enough good CBs.....now imagine if We took Cam Smith, or Gonzalez in the 1st...with JPJ in the 2nd. :smiley1::hehehe:

I would graduate the ‘someone to get after the QB’ part to a blue chip defender. Cannot have too many of those.

No, I’m a big Steelers fan for 64+ years and anyone on here in there80’s knows we have seen a lot of Steelers football. Many of those years not good ones. Back in the day you produced or you get benched. Today it is more like a buddy system and I firmly believe that is MT way. So until that changes we are going to getting what got.

P.S. yes Canada needs to go now, not mid season. I wouldn’t care who they put in that position as long as he is gone. Heck Elmer Fudd could do a better job than him .

I am leaning toward the bulk of the blame on Canada and the scheme. Watched some videos this week of different analysts and Warren Sharp literally shows where the offense tips its hand to the defense. The defense knows what we are doing. It happened last year to a degree more often this year. They stack the box with 8 defenders. Steelers' offense is averaging 19.6 yards per drive ( worst in the NFL). 8 offensive points per game ( worst in the NFL) 82% of the time when Kenny is in shotgun he is passing the ball. Kenny passes the ball just over 10% of the time when under center. This and only this is the problem right now. Canada is not going to turn brilliant all of a sudden. He really is that bad and if they don't do anything we are going nowhere, again. I would be more willing for changes to be made now than in the future.
