Lamar Jackson: 2 tds, 1int, and 2 fumbles

Cleveland Creeper SleazeShawn Watson : 2tds, 2ints, and 3 fumbles

    Joe Burrow: 2tds, 1int, and 0 fumbles

    KFP: 2tds, 3ints, and 0 fumbles

Looks like nobody is just killing it in the AFCN.
I believe KFP will have His best game this coming game. I put some heavy juju/ hoodoo on it. LoL

If he doesn't, we're screwed. It's not like it won't be hard.

That's pretty bad for the North QB's when Kenny has had the second best start of the 4.

With any luck, Kenny Pickett can have a big bounce back against Las Vegas. That said, like the OP pointed out, really.. no one is running away with being the best QB in the Division though despite the two fumbles, Lamar has shown to be the most proficient of the four. For that matter, Joe Burrow may be the biggest loser of it all as that Calf Injury, now reaggravated, will continue to limit him moving forward unless Zac Taylor shuts Burrow down for a bit. However... that may not be possible as Cincy is now down 0-2 in the division with even the NFC West Games being that much more important than they should be.

As for DeShaun Watson.... what is Cleveland to do moving forward?! You cannot bench him for that is just admitting a mistake; one that the entire NFL will clown you for.. no matter the personnel being teams or National Media. Sadly, no more Nick Chubb means that much more to fall on Watson's shoulders; something he has not gone through since 2020. Watson cannot seem to get going either; likely due to the self imposed wounds he caused himself. Granted, you reap what you sew but it is fair to now question if DeShaun's psyche is just damaged at this point.

Finally and again, Pickett needs to have a bounce back game. Never mind Pickett though even though he has not played well. Matt Canada better have a bounce back or those audibles will get a lot louder.

Only problem is our history traveling to da Raiders isn't great on top of short week. Hope you’re right though. KP needs it badly!!

First 3 to 4 games are pre season to most of these teams no one practices hard and plays in the pre season games

If Pickett doesn't play better, I wonder if Tomlin might bench him. Perhaps he could do it just until the bye, more to give him a reset to clear his head than because I think it will help the team all that much. A buddy of mine suggested if they are going to do it, better to give Trubisky the game against the Texans to get his legs under him before they play the Ravens.

Something clearly isn't right with Pickett. This isn't the guy we saw last season, not even what we saw in the early stinkers against the Bills and Eagles. The confidence just isn't there and I think that is affecting everything else. He is hesitant, which is leading to poor decisions and late throws behind receivers. Is Canada part of that? Maybe. I guess it's possible that Pickett has no faith in the system he's running and that is contributing to his issues, but whatever the reason, he needs to find the version of himself from the end of 2022 and go from there.

I think the Browns need to do the opposite. They need to run more. Put the ball in Ford's hands. They brought back Kareem Hunt, who can take on some of the load. Yes, the Steelers were sloppy as hell, but Ford did show some power and speed. He is no Chubb, but putting more on Watson doesn't seem wise.

The Bengals should shut Burrow down and get him healthy. Yes, they are digging a big hole for themselves, but if you have an elite quarterback, you have to protect him.

The AFC QB I think is going to shine this season started week 1 not so good but decent in week 2. Trevor Lawrence.

Strange how the AFCN QBs are struggling so bad, yet the talking heads seem to consider this the most competitive division in the AFC. I guess if nobody can score, it is very competitive. :roflmao:

The Bengals have started slowly every year with Taylor as their head coach. The talking heads know that. The real question is how much of the season Burrow will be battling that calf injury.

The Ravens are 2-0 and Jackson is doing what he does.

You are talking about preseason predictions. The Browns would be 2-0 right now if Chubb hadn't gotten hurt. They would be looking good despite Watson's failings.

Most talking heads thought Pickett would stake a step forward this season. Obviously, he isn't living up to expectations, but the team is still 1-1.

And…the Steelers started slow last season as well.

But…Chubb did get hurt and Watson is failing. Has to change how teams will prepare for them.

Also…LJ is not a good pocket passer. As long as the Ravens try to make him one I think they will struggle.

If…The Bengals lose this week they will be 0-3.

This division will remain competitive until one of these teams starts figuring it out and takes control.
Just this morning Canty called the AFCN the most competitive division top to bottom in the league. He didn’t say best division, most competitive.

You were mocking preseason expectations. Those were based on Chubb being healthy. To make fun of those based on him being out is just using hindsight.

It wasn't just last year that the Bengals started slow. It has been literally every season with Taylor. Burrow's injury casts down on their season.

I agree that Jackson isn't a good pocket passer. Jackson has made key plays with his legs, which is what I meant by him doing what he does.

Perhaps it was on here I read it, but didn't they change his mechanics in the offseason and on top of it he added about 20lbs. Has the mechanics messed him up, but then again he was fine in preseason. Then again preseason isn't regular season speed but agree with you something is totally off. My concern with him last year was I thought he seemed fragile, like every hit was bone crushing to him. If I didn't know better I would think he's feeling the effects of a concussion and his head isn't processing **** fast enough. I'm reaching because I can't find a rationale reason for the dramatic regression. Maybe its as simple as teams now have film on him and are taking away his strengths and he's not adapting that coupled with Canada not designing plays that take advantage of his strengths. The pressure is going to mount on him week by week if he doesn't put together a good solid outing!

Bring this back up next year when half this board doesn’t want the starters to play more than a series or two or they might get hurt

It sucks the Steelers don't get to play the Bengals early in the season, we saw what the Browns did to Burrow, the Bengals say Burrow is day to day.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I did say I didn't like Him adding muscle because it would mess up the way he was used to throwing.(you can look it up, and look up the people who laugh at that). Again I don't know if it is part ,or any of the issues. You know doing something gradually is one thing, but 20 pounds in less then a year is another. I can't think of any great throwing Qbs that were full of muscle.

I don't know if KFP will be any good or not. I will say he just faced the two toughest defenses he will probably face this season aside from the Browns a 2nd time.

Pickett had absolutely no time to throw against Cleveland and our Oline stunk both against the run and the pass. Canada’s offense is way too predictable which is affording no time for KP to make reads.
