Everyone talks about how the offense needs to find an identity. They did find one. It is called three and out.

We should be able to beat the raiders? But history shows we have hard time beating them on the West Coast. But hopefully are offense comes alive this game!

The rumor I heard around the water cooler was that he is trying to play through a chest injury.

DK said on the Ramon show that Pat kind of winked at him when he was asked about the hit in the 49ers game. They are thinking they don't want to put it out there that he has bruised or cracked ribs. They though he would be wearing a Kevlar vest for the Brown's game. (They as in DK and Ramon)

This is the Int, is this a good pocket or a bad pocket? This is when Kenny released the ball.

The Browns did just dominate Burrow and their explosive offense.. now, it's obvious Burrow is injured and not himself.. still though, that was a beat down of a legit Super Bowl contender and one of the best offenses in the league in week 1.

It would be nice if we could see Pickett at least dominate a crappy D one of these games.. I just want to see he has it in him to consistently hit open receivers and lead a team downfield when he should. I know we finished "strong" last season, but Pickett wasn't exactly lighting it up either.. he had a couple memorable late drives in games, but didn't do much the rest of the time.

im fine with moving Moore over to RT. But we have to institute change. The lines playing bad already can it get much worse with the rookie in. The center has really been bad the last two games as well.

JPJ has to develop. At least PI is better than a wide open receiver. What about losing contain on the cut back run?

Montravius Adam’s is playing with alot if heart but he is way to small. Loudermilk is too light we need bigger bodies in there. Leak is to small as well but at least he is athletic and he will shoot a gap occasionally.

That’s my point. We have talent. Now on the flip side I think we played two really good defenses and I think we will get better but the same issues have been going on for three years now.

    “We Were Lied Also”

Broderick Jones may end up replacing Dan Moore at LT. I think Jones will be our next RT.

KP is doing what he is told to do on situational football plays. His accuracy is bad on crossing routes but the plays are bad too.

The defensive front 7 is incredible. Once the secondary catches up this will be a top5 defense.

Give the OL until week6. If they don’t have it in week6, the rebuild didn’t work.

Turnovers and penalties lose more games than anything else. Keep checking those box scores.

Yes they prioritized beefing up the lines but it isn’t panning out. I understand it may take some time but to me and my point if that it is either scheme or coaching related. It doesn’t help that Heyward is injured.

    It's very Qb based though.

That should have been waited one more tick, and then thrown to Muth....at least that's what I remember when watching it live. I haven't watched it again yet.

I still like Pickett. I think he is she’ll shocked right now and pushing things and playing tight. It can happen to any of these QB’s. Look at Burrow right now. Very few can withstand the pressure of the rush and play well. I still believe it is up to Canada and Tomlin to figure this out. To many of these same issues were around before picket such as poor OL play and poor run game, neither of which help Picket in his development. Ben could overcome some of that stuff just because of his level of experience. The sad thing is defensed still play us the same and a good quality free agent guard came over and now looks bad. To me that’s on the coaches not the players. I get tired of hearing we just need to execute better. Especially when the coaches say it. It sounds like they are placing all the blame on the players. Maybe Canadas plays are fantastic when everybody does their job to perfection. But is that the right offensive system to have? If we don’t produce then what us the solution? Is the system not player friendly and too hard to execute, does it fit our players strengths, does it change from game to game so it isn’t predictable, do we scheme for certain defenses? Are the players being coached up within the context of the play design to maximize the value of it to assure its successful from a blocking oersepective etc?

How is the defensive front seven incredible when the opposing team ran for nearly 200 yards?

Patience is a virtue, give this off line time to gel. I think they will be fine.

You think DJ is that much of a loss to our offense? The same DJ who didn’t catch a td pass all of last year?
You got to be kidding. We need KP to settle down and find his wrs and to also get the ball to them.
In otherwards KP more important to getting this offense going than DJ.

Week 1- Nick Bosa, defending DPoY, 2022 1st team all pro- 2 tackles, no sacks, 1 qb hit.
Week 2- Myles Garett, perennial next DPoY, 2022 2nd team all pro- 1 tackle, 1 qb hit.

Dan Moore is not the problem, and shouldn't be moved. He's taken two of the best DE's in the league and neutralized them. Meanwhile, TJ has 4 sacks, 1 pass defensed, two forced fumbles, 2 recovered fumbles, a TD, and 9 qb hits. Our "lesser" edge rusher has 14 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble, and a pick 6.

Jones for Okorafor? In a second.

You claimed it was a lie that they prioritized the line. That was false. At least you admit as much now.

No, it doesn't help that Heyward is injured. There is no one on that team who can replace him. That's not poor depth. That's what happens when you lose an All-Pro.

No, the offensive line isn't working out so far, but it is two games against very good fronts. Let's give it a little more time before we write them off.

We’ll be fine, the key is the o line . It’ll improve with Jones coming on and maybe Moore switching to RT.

look at it this way, if things don’t get better we’ll get a house cleaning - specially with the coaching staff. Of course there’s the middle ground purgatory zone Tomlin seems to thrive in.

Matt Canada, growing pains in both the Young Offense and Young Secondary along with a lack of a slot option were well known long before the season. Hell, even now, add outside Corner to the list as P2 clearly is not who he once was (though the only major viable option) and Levi Wallace is arguably the biggest liability among starting Corners in all of Football. Very few were lied to about this.

What we, as fans, have been lied to is the overall lack of development from Kenny Pickett. However, it takes two to tango here. Kenny has been bad thus far in his second season but Matt Canada is clearly the issue at present. What the fan base was promised in terms of being a physical team cannot even get run blocking concepts correctly installed into the plays; a tweet by Brian Baldinger via an article here providing better insight. The talent is clearly there. The players simply are not being placed in winnable situations; George Pickens doubly so.

Until Glen Thomas obtains more input for the Offense, expect the woes to continue.

Come on AQL, we weren't "lied" to. We all saw what Kenny was doing in preseason. Even if it was against lesser defenses, he was leading receivers well, picking his guys out with confidence, looking in command of the offense. Who knows what's going on with him the last two games, but the development was there for all to see.

I think you're right that it's a combination of poor playcalling against top defenses that is not helping. Something also seems to be in Kenny's head, mind.

I think he just misread the defense and thought that Delpit was going with Freiermuth in man coverage. He was baited and bit.
