the E / W running (by canaduh!) is insane. NORTH AND SOUTH, between the tackles. what a joke. what do we do all offseason. this is on Tomlin and Rooney - leadership, coaching, planning and strategy. You don't run outside with a HUGE back.

    just dumb

If he blocked better this wouldn't even be a question you would start Warren and bring in Najee when the defense begins to wear down but right now our OL blows and is nowhere near being consistent.

I would rather bench Canada first. Why are we throwing our first round pick players under the bus while keeping this incompetent play caller around?

2 plays when the D was gassed and out of position more like.

He's running in quicksand. IDK why. It's not physical.

I just skipped over what most said.
    1. Najee had more yards on less carries last night than Warren.
    2. If You can't tell the difference in what the D is going into on 1st , and 2nd down when one is on the field, and when the other is on the field....Well I'm wasting My time writing this.

we still need 2 RBs on a rotating basis. 50/50 sounds good to me. and injuries (ala what happened to Nick Chubb) are part of the game.
    continue the rotating system.

Sure. McFarland is on IR, had to call up a PS RB, Warren is not good in pass pro, bench Najee sounds like the way to go.

You are a funny guy. :roflmao:

I know you love Mikey but you can’t possibly like this Canada offense. It’s historically bad!

Harris isn't producing as the opponents are literally stacking the box with everything and anything possible; last night just another example. That said, even with a much worse OL in his Rookie Season, Najee was much better than this. With any luck, he can have a Derrick Henry esque type of resurgence soon.

People tend to forget that it took Derrick Henry four seasons to become the Derrick Henry we know today. Perhaps something similar can happen for Najee. Just have to hope for the best.

Harris lovers? Spare us the childish nonsense.

Harris has been the more effective runner of the two so far this season. Your description of him does not fit what he showed as a rookie or at the end of last season.

Warren is great in the role as they use him now. He is dangerous as a receiver and works well as a change-of-pace back. It is Harris, however, who has three long runs this season.

They have three long runs this season, all by Harris. Yes, he looked slow accelerating on one of them, but he was still effective. It's not as if Warren has done anything special as a runner this season. He has made plays as a receiver, which is why he is the third-down back.

Funny, reading through this most of us can see Warren is a step above Harris at present moment. I'm not sure what Tomlin and Canada are seeing. I get that they watch way more film then me and know football way more then me but I can't understand why they don't see the benefit of Warren being #1 now.

Warren has carried the ball nine times for 26 yards this season, an average of 2.9 yards per carry. That's the lead back you want? lol

By the way, Harris has 74 yards on 16 carries this season, 4.6 yards per carry, despite the offensive line getting its ass kicked in both games.

I hate to point to the stats thingy, but Najee is currently averaging 4.6 yard per carry and Warren 2.9 yards per carry.

The problem is Najee needs more touches per game, not less. 8 carries per game is not enough for your power back to wear down the defense. They need to just start feeding Najee the ball, again and again, and again and then watch what happens in the 4th QTR.

I would love to see Naj explode through a hole the way Adrian Peterson would. If there are guys there, just run them over for a positive gain.

After the SF game I told Harris on Twitter , if you don't see anything up the middle, then run outside. They're waiting for you in the middle since that's all you do. It looks like he listened to me. :hehehe:

Now if only Tomlin and Canada would listen to me when I tell them to hand in their resignation papers.

Well, Harris is the first round pick, and has three explosive runs this season. Let's see Warren carry the ball 300 times a season, and catch 70 passes before saying he's better than Najee, Warren also blew an assignment not picking up a Browns defender that was on a blitz and led to Pickett getting sacked.

Najee Harris had at least 2 runs vs the Browns that were insane. He picks up blitzes better than any other RB on our team. Warren is good also, just not as good. Making it a battle between them is dumb.

Najee had more yards and more yards per carry. So, Im going to have to reject your hypothesis.

You are wasting Your breath. I guess they haven't watched the games, and when one starts for some reason they all start repeating this nonsense. I really can't figure out why.
