I’m not a big Canada fan but last night our O was terrible. Is Puckett the man for the job????

You know how it works, players make the play it is a great call, players don't make the play it is a bad call. I'm no fan of Canada but Pickett ain't making those plays work.

Not giving up on Kenny just yet. Never expected him to be a franchise QB but he can get a lot better. I live in Jalen Hurts fandom and his first year they bitched and moaned constantly about him, not so much now.

On a side note, you never draft a QB whose name is telling you he is going to throw a lot of INTs. Pick it (off)

The Canada offense is a disaster and kenny p looks like a bust. No way to sugarcoat it. I was right. the d outscored the offense last night and the steelers can win only one way. D scores and gets numerous turnovers. aim for 9 but 7 looks more likely right now as far as wins go. only 3 more easy games Cardinals, Texans and Colts. Rest of games will be as unwatchable as last night game was for offense.

Raiders, Texans and Ravens don't have as good of D-lines and front 7 as 49ers and Browns. Next 3 games we should see improvement from the offense. There's nowhere to go but up.

Leave it up to Steelers fans to overreact and be all doom and gloom after a win over a formidable division rival.

friermuth isn't a very good blocker. the calls of running najee up the gut into the teeth of a good d-line which is clevelands strength was strange to me. the qb draw play on 3rd and short was the most bizarre play call i have ever seen.

our defensive backs with all the so called defensive back experts we have is terrible. my lord, tomlin, austin, brown and then all the veteran players back there. what the hell?

What has Canada shown since he was hired, that makes you think we will see improvement? There is more than enough film on the Canada offense that improvement is going to hard to come by.

Just a thought, could it be lack of scheme and predictability that makes the oline / offense worse than they are talent wise? I mean the defenses we've played didn't hesitate in the least attacking our offense. Canada is hot garbage and needs to be removed. He has had enough time IMO.

I was looking at the back of Mason Cole's jersey a lot last night, as he watched his QB getting hit ... our interior line sux. All free agents BTW.

You're right. Can't blame Canada, he's only doing what someone is letting him do. Whoever is running this show seems to feel that personnel leading the offense, OC, QB, etc., is the best we can muster, or they wouldn't be, right? Accountability regarding what happens or doesn't happen performance wise is a moving target. Regardless of how we performed last night, the Stains showed that they can be even worse. I would like to give Deshawn Watson the game ball for us because if it were not for him (and Chubbs leaving game) I am not sure how this would turn out. I will say our D did what they needed to do to force the turnovers and that is a positive. JMO>

Matt Canada is widely panned as 'not a good Offensive Coordinator.'
There is really little justification for Canada being around and hindsight, obvious as it is, Canada should have been let go and Washington's new OC should have been here.

I didn't want to make any comments after the 49er disaster and resulting meltdown.
Looking at this game, I am discouraged at the overall coaching tree.

The Defenses had those huge splash plays from the special players that will make those regardless.
There were breakdowns in calls and design coverages.

    The Oline is terrible.
A lot of teams with very good offenses will struggle against this Cleveland Defense, it is for real.
Canada's poor design does not help our O line at all. Then throw in the incompetent play calls.
I look at what Eric Bieniemy is doing for Sam Howell and it illustrates just how bad Canada is destroying a promising young QB.

How Tomlin can remain stoic is beyond me.
I am so angry with Canada sitting up in that box with that clueless look on his face...
If I am Tomlin, he's down on the field with this offense and his QB and working his offense.
At least he's in near proximity when I want to strangle the life out him.

There are good players on this team.
They've done a terrible job at putting them together as a team.
Running Cananda off would go a long way towards winning more.

But, but, but, the all 22 game film says different.

Even Patrick Mahomes couldn't get production out of Canada's mess.

Exactly. Anyone that thinks that Canada deserves no blame or that he has shown he has a real grasp as a competent offensive coordinator needs a fresh set of glasses and a head examination. He has already stunted the growth of this offense. And Tomlin stands by because Art II won't let someone sit on the couch collecting his money while eating Cheetos even if he is destroying this offense.

I'm hoping after the bye that Jet Sweep is told to back down or let go and let Mike Sullivan take over. Enough is enough.

Yeah the O played two of the best Dlines in the game and the Oline looked like absolute garbage, meaning Pickett didn't have a ton of time to throw. But when he did have time he was missing.

The O in general is a complete mess. Can't run. Can't pass. Can't really do much of anything. Some of it's on Pickett for sure and I think we'd see an improvement with Trubisky. I'm not sure how much of an improvement though. The Oline just seems fundamentally really bad - much less than the sum of its parts.

Yup...Ben had 7 forth quarter comebacks in 21'... mostly because of the **** plays that were called all game, then he had to play street ball to win the game ..end of game, end of half when someone other than Canada was calling plays ... This fraud shouldn't be fooling anyone.

I can blame Canada too. The bad play calling, the wild fires, and Trudeau.

There’s so much blame to go around. I disliked a number of play calls, especially the 2 point play and the late 3rd and short, but a lot of our plays could have worked better with better O Line play, and of course more accurate passing. So many players on the offense are failing to execute their blocking assignments. There was a lot of talk after the 49ers game about KP not seeing open receivers, but last night all he had to do was hit the receivers that he did see and throw to, and the offense would have likely been considerably more productive in the point column. He was flustered and inaccurate.

I don't like Canada, but this is the excuse of every so so Qb, and that is what at this moment KFP is. It always the OC, the OL, and , or the weapons. That is how teams , and fans keep tricking themselves selfsame into keeping a so so Qb for a long time. Can You say Kordell??? It was always the OL, the OC, the weapons, and never the Qb.

I agree, but I feel likes it's the chicken or the egg..They have to have a few plays that gets them going..A few that that are wins for the offensive line..A few plays that KP is very comfortable with..Also You finally have that big man who can catch a long ball with a DB in his hip pocket, but how many have they chosen to throw...Have to make the other teams defense play honest .Hard to do when the other defense is bullying your O line
