    1. Defense bailed us out something fierce

    2. For all our defensive prowess, Levi Wallace was abused

    3. Presley Harvin must've heard the whispers, because he was basically on point all game

    4. Boswell is back to form and then some

    5. Kenny Pickett was as much a problem as Matt Canada

    6. George Pickens backed up his talk

    7. If Najee doesn't stop dancing, we're gonna have a full blown rb controversy on our hands

    8. Nice to see Nick Herbig and JPJ making things happen

    9. Either Fehoko or Benton needs to be in the middle, because Montravious Adam's has been a non factor

    10. Prayers to Nick Chubb

Understatement. Still the weak link after 4 years.

Agree with all sir! I can’t wait to see offensive breakdowns on YouTube of this game. I seen a few throws KP shouldve made. Other throws i had no idea what he was thinking!

Good summary. Glad we got a win but what a depressing game between two not so good teams. JMO>

Good lord that Browns Tackle is huge. He is going to be trouble for years to come.

Steelers open field tackling is so bad!

Run defense without Cam is ugly. It might take until end of the season before our ilb’s get on the same page and actually become a factor.

Browns loaded the box and we ran right into it like idiots! Canada should have done more to negate that.

Mason Cole looked like he was having his lunch handed to him tonight.

Levi Wallace had the worst game that I can remember from a DB since Artie Burns.

It looks like a 9-8 or 8-9 team because of the secondary, interior d-line, o-line, and QB play.

This defense can be pure gold it is so beautiful to watch. Such a waste of talent with this offense. Imagine if the defense got longer breaks every week and a complementing offense.
At this point, I only want to watch when the opponent has possession. The steelers are best when they do not control the ball sadly

How many years have we been talking about the secondary, OL, and DL needing attention? Four years? We've been drafting and getting FA talent. Coaching has to be the issue.

    Yep... but..

Need to revisit some of the draft picks we've had.

    1. Canada is the wrong OC for Pickett
    2. Pickett is the wrong QB for Canada
    3. They should both be on notice

Pickett had his second poor game in a row. He made poor decisions that I'm sure he owns.

He makes fewer of them along with some better throws if he's not constantly playing dodgeball with Cleveland's pass rushers.

    He will get better.

...and the OL was worse than both, which is really impressive. Despite an awful scheme, and several poor decisions/throws, it's hard to judge either guy fully when there's absolute chaos the moment the ball is snapped. The few times Kenny could step into a throw he did fairly well. The rare occasion there was room to run the RBs did alright. Like most situations, despite people having their own villain to blame everything on, it's a compilation of suck so bad it's hard to even know where to begin examining the problems.

Coaching is an issue, but if an o-line cannot control the line of scrimmage, everything offensively is neutered. Tomlin needs to do some offense personnel restructuring. Friermuth didn't catch a pass. Did he even get a target? You may as well play Washington at TE, Broderick Jones at one tackle, I don't care which.

The schemes/coaching flat out suck. It's the worst pair of coordinators in the NFL outside of Chicago. And speaking of the secondary and OL, they drafted those positions and then sat there watching Wallace play like :poopy: all night while Porter stood on the sideline most of the game. Jones never saw the field at all.

Kenny was much more poised last year, what changed? Maybe he knows the interior line is trash?

Naj lost that urgency he was running with towards the end of last year too.

    really disheartening to see.

Where was Muth tonight? I think I heard his name once in the game.

Fighting through his chest injury from last week?
