I can’t believe that was only the 2nd game of the season…

Felt like a whole season.

 

OK some answers to the OP ?

Fire the OC. Make a qb change if he starts bad against a mediocre defense next week. Figure out why the middle of the OL is sucking.

 

Pickett needs to play better, but the coaches need to help him play better. This should be a run heavy offense and don't be afraid to sit Harris if Warren in playing better.

 

IMHO…. Really think they need to sit Kenny and let him learn from the sidelines, as much as everybody wants to blame Canada, KP missing a lot of passes even when he has time to pass.
KP also showing a bad trait, happy feet and panicking. Hopefully he can overcome this. Also Warren is a much more powerful runner than Harris. This was shown last year.
More screens, offensive line still a work in progress, screens would help if KP would show some touch.

In all honesty, Warren is a more aggressive runner than Harris. I like both Rbs. But facts are facts

 

Fire Canada first and foremost and hand it over to Mike Sullivan.

It won't happen now but that's what I would want. I believe if this offense continues to struggle they will have to make a move during the bye.

I think both the browns and 49ers front 7s are really really good. We may see the offensive line start to gel next week. That would mean a better run game which would settle Kenny down. That’s my hope anyway.

 

The defense saved the offense’s asses tonight. They got the win but this offense still has a ton of problems. The play calling is just horrific and it looks like nothing has changed from last season. They won tonight but they won’t moving forward if things don’t begin to change with this offense and change drastically.

 

Cole had a bad game and the Browns exploited it. The o-line stinks. Chuks looked like he still had cobwebs in his head from the concussion. Dan Moore was a pylon at times. Warren was great catching the ball, but he nearly got Pickett killed when he failed to pick up the free rusher. The defense was opportunistic, but without turnovers and sacks they are exposed.

 

Canaduh is a repetitively boring play caller - he calls routine plays routinely.

Pickett has been playing poorly and with anxiety because this O-line and scheme. He doesn’t trust the pocket. It makes him have happy feet and not able to focus down field and make good passes.

This is scary because this o-line will take a while to get it together and also because it’s the NFL. and he has to operate under close fire and still stayed poised and on task like a top pro QB.

 

QB position a major concern as of right now. I realize this is only his 2 season, but he has a lot of bad habits he needs to break.
You cant be a good qb with your feet going every which way and he needs to get a better feel where pressure is at, seems like he runs right into it.
The latter is something that you have natural instincts for, im no coach but im not sure you can be taught this?!

The interior of the line was getting all they could handle … you either need to max protect or roll Kenny out to counter Browns loading the box.

I just think Canada isn’t helping Kenny much when the game shows it is going a certain way.
