Well, I guess yinz that paid for Direct tv ticket will be happy this week...
I CANNOT believe, that they will not be showing the Steeler`s v Cincy game, here in NEO, when the Clowns play at 4 o clock!!!:frustrated:
I can (sorta) understand the rules preventing them from showing our game, while their`s is on...
But, when we play at 1, and they play at 4...
Why the EEEFFFF shud I not be able to watch us play another team from my home state, instead of just basically having a blackout for the 1st game?!?
    That`s ridiculous!!!
I really shouldn`t complain, given how many games have been on tv here, this year(waaaayy more than usual), but, Damnit, I was looking forward to sitting at home for this one...
Oh well... off to the bar I go...:shots::herewego::herewego!:
:bsux: ! 1 down, Clowns to go, to the playoffs, whether we "deserve" it, or not!!!

I will be in So Cal this weekend. The early game on CBS is Chargers-Jets. It doesn't get any worse than that.

    THIS IS RECALCULOUS!!

they need to have three games on saturday too so they have a larger market

plus fans have a better chance of seeing their team at an important time of the season

and why no game thursday and monday??? hell, that would cover half the league. they did last year.

I thought for sure that the Pitt-cinn game would be on out here (Toledo) being the Clowns play at 4:00, those bast****. I'll have to head out to a sports bar and end up getting twice as drunk.

Well, we get it but it looks like we'll be going out anyway because the old man's team plays at the same time.

One of the few times that living in the Great Northwet is an advantage! I can FEEL it -- it's going to be a GOOD day (and, then, I suppose....Christmas will probably be okay too).

    Go STEELERS (and Giants)

***************STEELER IN LOS ANGELES AREA update, the Charger game has been scratched in favor of the Steelers***************************

Once again, that maps have changed. That's at least twice this seaon where they had the Chargers set to be shown in the Los Angeles area and then it was changed to show the Steelers. In fact last time, I was in the process of sending someone a pm asking for a feed. LOL.

I really thought I had lost my mind and somehow misread the map, but even my program guide showed the Chargers. I refreshed the program guide and it started showing the Steelers game. Whew, that was literally 5-10 minutes before kick off.

So of course, I didn't fall for it this time. :)

Christmas is SAVED! I have Sunday ticket but my system failed yesterday, no signal or some ****, called and tried to schedule an appt but they couldn't get here until after Christmas, I climbed up on the roof today to see if I could figure it out myself. They never show the games locally in my area...but tomorrow they are, so I can go watch it at a friends and continue my streak of not missing a game in 4 years!

    Merry Christmas Everyone!

Well, maybe someone can help me understand the "NFL Rules" that prevent Fox from having both games in Pittsburgh area. The way I understood it (obviously incorrect) was that one of the networks has a double header each week and one does not. For the one that does not, the local (along with the NFL and the network) decides which game they will broadcast. The network that has the doubleheader has 2 games in each market. So...why no Fox game in the Pittsburgh area. And I understand the blackout rules, but that would not apply in Pittsburgh.
