Lewis missed practice today after being limited yesterday. Doesn't sound good, but apparently he still says he's going to be ready Sunday... For what it's worth.

It's the one Mendy keeps digging for himself, I'm surprised Lewis didn't fall clear through to China.

it is a joke.. the whole season is one big joke... this team reminds me of one player for the jags.. "fragile" freddy taylor.. remember him... got hurt so much they called him fragile.. maybe the locker room door should have caution tape.. fragile inside.. the team bus... marked fragile.. the helmets.. fragile.. the uniforms fragile... i mean a guy steps in a hole and got hurt? i wish i had a dollar for every hole i have stepped in .. or like a gasoline eaten hole in a driveway ... never got hurt... these guy get hurt looking at a football game... just not in shape.. look at some of the linemen the past few years.. no wonder they cant stay on the field? just not football ready

Fire all the strength and condition coaches in Pittsburgh, including the ones for the Pirates and Penguins, it's all their faults.

Haven`t you learned yet, to NEVER ask a question like that???!!!??
For instance, What`s the worst that could happen?
    ....
Or... How could things POSSIBLY get any worse???
If you ask, you will probably get answered... And you will probably, NOT like the answer!!!:banned:

Yeah, and I've caught millions of things thrown at me over the years - so there's no excuse for Mike Wallace not catching passes in a game! That works, right?

Isn't it a bit more likely that the word restriction on Twitter has led to a bit of a reductive account of what happened? Pretty sure it wasn't the stepping in a hole that injured Lewis - more likely what he did to his leg in the process.

I remember something like this maybe 2 years ago too - a playergetting hurt due to a hole on thepractice field. It is very easy to roll and ankle or tweak a knee when you are expecting firm ground and there is none.

kind of sucks that if the Steelers do go down they will go down without all their players being healthy.

i know all teams have to deal with injuries. some more than others, but this season for the Steelers has been borderline ridiculous.

if Lewis doesnt play they will have their 4th and 5th string dbs out there again and probably some knew guy they just signed.

i know they have shot themselves in the foot more often than not, but it just seems like every time they start to look half way decent and healthy another guy goes down.

before Ben got hurt a lot of people were picking them as one of the best teams in the league.

i keep holding out hope that they can sneak into the playoffs and hopefully be as close to being fully healthy as they have all year.

I've seen Clark come out for a play and he's missed games in Denver twice. Not getting on Clark cause I think he's a stud just disputing your silly rant.

Well let's think about this. Ben, Dwyer, Mendy, Redman, AB, Cotchery, Adams, DeCastro, Gilbert, Colon, Pouncey, Ike, Harrison, Woodley, Allen, Troy, Brown, have all missed time. That is pretty ridiculous! I don't think it would be making an "excuse" to bring this up. I think it would almost be offering a "REASON" as to why we have looked like we have. What makes this all the more discouraging is the fact that we've been very competitive in almost every game this season. Besides AB's fumble I really think if Ike had been playing we would've beat Dallas for sure but when you are bringing in guys from the practice squad multiple times it's just not good.

You my friend are silly, go root for the St Louis Rams or better yet KC Chiefs
and leave the real stuff to us locals.

It is, after all, well known that Rams and Chiefs fans consist entirely of people who point out minor yet wholly correct facts.

Don't care about the Rams or Chiefs. I've been a Steelers fan most of my life and just because I don't live in Pittsburgh doesn't mean that they can't be my team. It's easy to be a fan when the team is winning, but it's when they go through tough times that you find out who the real fans are. I don't need to call the players on my favorite team a bunch of pussies or Yellow. I'll leave that for the fair weather fans like you.
