Would love to get back to some AFC Championship games. Kordell led us to 2 of them.

We lost in the last minutes to Broncos in '97 season because we didn't run Bettis. We lost to Patriots in '01 season because of piss poor special teams plays in the last minutes. The mighty Ben after XLV managed to get us to a whopping 1 AFC Championship game vs Patriots in '16 season. That game was over by halftime.

Stewart certainly played his part in losing that game to the Broncos. It was so odd to see a Cowher team not running the ball enough. The special teams sucked all game long in that loss to the Patriots. You aren't going to see teams win very often when the opponent scores on returns of a blocked field goal and a punt.

Ironic thing in hindsight is...Drew Bledsoe beat us that day in January of '02. Not Tom Brady.

Also Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring kicked the living crap out of Star Wars Phantom Menace Episode 1. Good time to be alive in late '01, early '02.

I remember. The Patriots were going nowhere on offense with Brady. They got one field goal while he was in the game, but the Steelers knocked him out of the contest. Bledsoe led the offense's only touchdown drive in that game.

No Kordell threw a stupid pick in 1997. Guess You forgot Bill Romanowski pointing at His head making fun of how dumb Kordell was after throwing that pick....Every time a team forced us to throw He $hit the bed. He was exactly like Lamar Jackson great against so so team, but when You faces a real defense in the playoffs that could force Him to pass ....he would $hit the bed. Every freaking time.

Lord of the Rings suck. I still remember being sent to the principles office for telling My 9th grade lit teacher to stop being a sheep, and if She thought Lord of the Rings was the best fantasy book written that She hadn't read very much. I got 3 licks for that. It was worth it. Stopped her from spreading false info. LoL

Kordell accomplished more in 5 years than mighty Ben did in the last 2/3rds of his career after XLV. Roethlisberger was nothing more than a glorified stat machine.

Ben Roethlisberger from 2011-2021 = Philip Rivers

Total crap show in '16 season AFC Championship game. Kordell looked amazing compared to that pile of feces game that Ben played. That '16 championship was over by halftime!

Yeah that's nice how You can just take a few Years from a whole career. LoL.
How about Ben could have just stopped after His first two years, and still would have done more than Kordell did in His entire career. Don't even attempt to compare the two.

Just saying...2011-2021 was a huge disappointment. You know it, I know it... everyone who is honest with themselves knows it.

LoL. No I don't know it. We went to a AFC Championship in that time went 11-0 another time. If You are just going by the outcomes of those seasons....then You got to be fair , and just go by the outcome of Kordells whole career.....which amounts to No Sbs, and No AFC Championship wins. You can't say well Kordell took us to two AFC Championship , and leave off He lost all of them. You seem to be picking , and choosing memories. LoL

You do know that Najee owns the Browns averaging over 100 yards per game.

So if it is Najee vs Chubb, right now Najee wins hand down, not even close. Chubb's average against the Steelers is 72.6 yard per game

And them years were all Bens fault? How about the piss poor coaching against the Pats every time we played them? Same defensive schemes that Brady tore up, even Rodney Harrison stated Steelers needed to play bump n run against Pats, but no MT a genius . Played same way each game.
Yet this is Bens fault? Do you realize how many SB we couldve won if we got past Pats in AFC Championship games?
    But its Bens fault. SMFH

I was comparing Kordell from '97-'01 vs Ben '11- '21. Bens stretch of the '10's decade was a clinic on underachievement.

    '01 with Stewart
    '04 & '16 with Roethlisberger

We dodged a bullet in '10. Jets and Revis took out the Patriots in divisional round. That would have been another AFC Championship loss if Patriots had won.
