True story when I was younger some guy was trying to sell my parents some type of life insurance and said what if a cow falls from the sky. I’ll never forget it he was actually using that as a sales pitch.

No freaking way can they do this. He's not played enough games to see if He can , and will get better. He must have this whole year, and maybe another before You can say for freaking sure He is not worth it.

Yes they check You all the time, and will even ask stupid questions. Like Your Mother's maiden name, and such. I've gotten knocked out, and only remember the walk back, showering, and not much after until I was half way home. LoL
Edit: I didn't fight MMA...I trained MMA. I was starting to get too old when that got big. I actually fought Kickboxing , and Boxing.

Agreed. Only one Qb on this team we've seen enough game tape to know what He really is.

Yes, Tomlin spoke of all that. That wasn’t a love tap though, he bounced his head off the turf pretty good. Given his history, they should have taken him into the tent. His play was certainly bad enough for it to be a possibility. Those were very easy passes he was missing badly on.

You don't take a player to the tent if he shows no sign of injury.

And the other one has had five years to earn the chance to get more game tape and couldn't do it, then saw every team in the league pass on him even as their No. 2. There are some disastrous backup quarterback situations out there and none of those teams wanted him, not even for near minimum salary.

LoL. We have only seen Him play like 10 games. You know this, and He actually did better in those 10 games than KFP, and I'm not giving up on KFP because I haven't seen enough games ....just like You....Your stubbornness doesn't allow Mason the same . I don't want to hear about the coaching....You.....Me , and everyone knows on most teams ....especially on the Steelers that higher draft picks get more chances. Legitimately only one Qb has played enough to be absolutely certain of what He is. You know this. No matter how hard You want to refute it, or however You want to spin it.

His 10 games were spread out over five years. He had plenty of opportunities in training camp, preseason games, and practice to earn more. He couldn't. The Steelers decided he wasn't good enough. The rest of the league agreed.

They aren’t going to tank. Suggesting they do so after one loss is stupid. Throw in that the 49ers are the best team on the schedule and it was a non-conference game makes your idea look even dumber. Now remember they are all in on Pickett, so it would be the sort of panic move terrible organizations make.

Im joking about the tanking part but with the injuries and how the KP/MC situation is playing out one of these years TOMLINs Cinderella crap will run out and the clock will strike midnight. This could be the year. If KP doesn’t improve this year we would be idiotic not to start the QB process over again.

That being said it’s his second year only and we have nobody behind him worth a damn so baring injury he has a full season to show us something.

A player gets his head slammed/bounced off the field. It's a player who had concussion issues last year. The player is your franchise QB. You take him to the damn tent and ensure he's fine. Unless, of course, you don't want to know.

I think it is more complex than that. If Pickett goes backward or shows no progress at all, you may be right. If he improves, even showing small progress, I'm betting he will get at least one more season.

We will know by Thanksgiving this year if Kenny is any good.

Maybe. The guy took a while in college. I'm not saying the Steelers should wait five years for him, but unless he is injured, I doubt they are spending a first-round pick on a quarterback next year.

Two words: Mark Malone. They kept him for 8 years. 60 TDs, 81 ints. 8 years we put up with him being on the roster, 8 f---g years.

Oh, no, I am not predicting when the team will decide on the kid, I was simply stating when "we" will most-likely know if he is any good. Half of us will recognize the truth on if Kenny is showing any signs of being legit by Thanksgiving, the other half will endlessly defend the team's position, which will most likely take years longer with tons of excuses added in to explain his inefficiency/production (lack of).

The team kept Mark Malone for 8 years, with a career TD/int. ratio of 60-81. It might not take 8 years this time, but certainly no less than than 1/2 of that time.
