Chuks got manandled in one of the preseason games, so I'm fine with Moore at RT and Jones at LT. I actually suggested Moore might end up at RT last year and got laughed at by somebody here as they said "the Steelers like Chuks". He sucks from all I've seen.

There is one common denominator in losses like this. You know damn well who it is. This ****ing team is not prepared for 1/4 of the season to play on Sundays. That’s at least 4 games a year. One or two games you are suppose to win can kill you.

Put Mt. Washington down there with him and Garrett will be a zero all night.

I told a 9er fan we'd come out unprepared and lose. Played out that way. Glad Omar didn't extend Tomlin yet.

Did you miss the part about Jones never playing right tackle as a college or pro player? He got no snaps there in the preseason games. None. You want to play a rookie at what is not his natural position after he got no work there in college or this preseason.

Think about that and let us know if the point sinks in.

Not true. Jones played 25 one year at georgia and 9 more a different year at georgia. He also practiced both sides every day in camp.

Then that is entirely different from what I am stating. Broderick does not have the experience necessary to play at Right Tackle. If those snaps were taken in a game setting, that is something the team can work with... though Kendrick Greens legednary 4 stats at Center for Illinois paints a different picture.

Moore isn't no better than Chuks, he was getting manhandled just as well as everyone else.

I get the point but were we really expected to win this game? I had it going either way if the Steelers played well... 49ers are a good team.

left side right side of the same position is quite different than a totally different position. green isn't half the recruit jones is. green got manhandled, jones won't.

    My point exactly.

Doubly so if accounting in the NFL. Broderick has yet to play a snap at that position; let alone practice it. I will say I was wrong about him not playing Right Tackle at Georgia. However, while he has occurred snaps there, his experience blocking for the blind side is far more advanced.

Regardless though, College and NFL are two different beasts; Georgia or otherwise. Broderick needs to learn one position for now to get him on the fast track toward NFL success. Expecting him to man the Right Side, with no exposure at the NFL level, is asking him to do close to Mission Impossible there.

Also, if you are going to put that sort of extra burden on a player, it should be the veteran.

The camp reports I heard was that he was only at LT. But practice reports from yesterday say that Jones was at RT so I expect we see Jones at RT unless Chuks plays. The fact they are moving Jones makes me think they expect Chuks to play.

“Jones did not practice at right tackle at all with the Steelers until Wednesday, but he played there at Georgia, getting his first collegiate action at right tackle back in 2020 and playing nine snaps there in 2021.

Guess Ol Popcorn was closing his eyes during the game and when he reviewed the game film. Said in his Tuesday presser that the offensive line played fine and that the pass protection was quote "Awesome". Talk about being delusional. But he singled out the punter. And Harvin II 1/2 will get a slap on the wrist and continue to be erratic.

No reports yet. They have an extra day because its a Monday contest. Can't afford to lose him for this game. He was in a walking boot Monday. No updates or what he is nursing

Moore is the LT. Jones can play on the right side. It is not ideal but neither was Moore starting at LT as a rookie. Who do you want on Garrett and who do you want on Smith? Freiermuth, Washington, Heyward, Najee, Warren can take turns helping out in pass protections if need be. It's what we have to play with.

Do the DEs switch or does Garrett move when Smith takes a breather? I only watch the browns when they play us. I do remember Garrett was pretty much a non-factor in both games last season. In fact, he's only had 1 sack in the 4 games Dan Moore has played in.
