S.F. 49ers take over Acrisure Stadium

I will be in Siena Italy
I booked the trip long before the schedule came out
I will still be there for game 3 Raiders as well

 

I assure you I had to pay for them before the stadium was built

I seriously think Dan Rooney picked my seats for me

I remember you relaying a story to me where that is pretty much what happened.

 

If you need a seat warmer for either or both of these games, I will be available.

I will keep that in mind but I swap with the guy who sits next to me so for a couple of other games I will take my niece and nephew or a couple of cronies

I don’t sell my seats

I did that once 10 years ago and two guys showed up wearing purple jerseys for the ravens game

Next game I got my butt chewed out by the whole section including the seat attendant

 

Good policy not to sell them for that reason alone and hats off to whoever showed up in ravens gear. I'd be scared to wear ravens gear around ravens fans.

 

These tickets were going for big dollars and I was saying there would be a lot of 49ers fans.

People were like no its home opener, lot of excitement for the season blah blah blah.

I knew there be a lot of 49ers fans. Lot of Steelers season ticket holders choose capitalism over fandom.

But, hey it is what it is, when you own the seats you can do what you want to with them.

If you can make 200% to pay for another game, might be worth doing or not.

But it looked bad because we got curb stomped and everyone, including myself left for the exit.

Call me fair weather but their is no coming back with 6 min to go and Kenny throws an INT and your down 20 points.

Everyone left but the 49ers fans and if I was there and the shoe was on the other foot Id stay to end as well.

 

As someone who was there and had pretty good seats, I can confirm there were ALOT of 49er fans there. I've been to many games and I cant remember seeing anything like that in a Steelers games before. The ones sitting around us were quite nice though I must say. Also the group of people sitting next to us flew here from the Bay area. So their fans must travel well as well.

The game itself though, man what a disappointment. Plus they ran out of all hamburger and hot dogs buns before halftime. Then there was a water shortage at one point. So even the Steelers stadium crew had that same energy as the onfield product. So there's that.

I live In NC and go to one home game every year. I most often speak with other fans that are from out of town. Occasionally I’ll speak with locals

Gotta disagree, Steeler Home games should be Dominated by Steeler fans. After all, Steeler Nation is Everywhere, we always seem to take over other stadiums . We should be able to protect our own!!

I was there when Franco caught that pass and leaving early has never crossed my mind and my wife knows better than to ask

The row in front of me is in a different section and about 10 feet below me with a walkway behind them

But technically it is the row in front of me

But it is fun every game trying to figure out who are mom dad brother sister friend etc

 

Exactly you can’t blame someone who wants to go

 

The 49ers play at the Rams on Sunday, a team that won a Super Bowl a few years ago, I bet there will be tons of 49ers fan there just like in Pittsburgh.

I switched over to the NASCAR race. I can’t remember another time when I turned the game off.
I won’t be going to a game this year. I’ll watch every game, but I’ve officially had enough of Tomlin.
