Look into the NFL+ Premium app.
    It may have the game.

    Or SlingTV app trial.

I watched Monday night football this week on YouTube TV. I cut DIRECTV since they lost Sunday ticket.

I have DTV and have CBS and Fox. Why don't you? Is it blacked out just in your area?

I get it. Directv is having a pissing match with the local Fox affiliate so I had to stream the home opener.

They negotiate contracts with all the individual broadcast stations on an amount they have to pay them to carry that station in their lineup. If they don't agree on a price to carry that station, they turn them down and remove the channel from the programming. I have DTV and don't have my local CBS or NBC affiliates.

It's the way everything is going. Cable and satellite are dying because they don't want to pay what these stations are asking and they are losing viewership. More and more are moving to streaming all the time.

I have the Sunday Ticket as a stand alone and must say that is a big letdown on Youtube. DirecTV was much better. You Tube TV sucks.

19.99 antenna is what I did as I also have DTV. Get's all the local channels and I'll keep it hooked up for emergencies. Goo $ 20 investment.

Easy as pie. Just attach the cable to the back of your TV in the "ANT in" slot and you are done. Took less than 1 minute.

Dish is garbage. DirecTV is the only good one. Great picture, interface, etc.

It was a joke GB. After last Sunday's debacle, was pointing out that not getting the game might be a blessing. And yes, Dish sucks. :drinks:

I'm sure it will work. The Best Buy brand is what I got for $19.99 and it works perfectly on my Samsung I bought in 2022.

So what is it that you didn’t like about the SundayTicket on YouTube TV? Cause I didn’t have any problems with it at all so I’m just curious.

I always assume 99% of country gets ABC, NBC and CBS easy as pie. This board has taught me different. I sure pay for it but Comcast Xfinity is great.

Not sure I understand this. I had DTV for over 22 years. I had ST since its inception. DTV got way to expensive and lost the rights to ST. I moved to YtubeTV in the spring and it has been great. The picture quality is better than DTV IMO.

The only negative that I have seen so far is that DTV used to run one main screen with up to 8 games you could select from. YTV, has it split into 2 multiview screens with 4 games on each. It is very easy to switch between games. So, I don't follow why you say YTV sucks. Also works great on Saturday for the NCAA games as they too are broken up in sets of 4 on multiple channels.

YTV is also not effected by weather. Yes, it is dependent upon you internet service but mine has been pretty stable. I can also watch the games on my phone if I am not at home and have no TV access to YTV. DTV on demand for me, never worked. DTV crashed and burned when ATT took over IMO.

Do you not live close to a major city and could hook up a simple antenna, old school style? If you are close to a city, you should be able to get a quality signal with a basic cheap antenna that does not require a roof top hookup. Heck, if you live close enough, you and simple use a paperclip in the antenna port on the TV which will serve as an antenna. But you have to be fairly close to the tower area for that, but it is possible.

You can't go back and forth between two games like you could in DTV. Sure you can put multiple games on multiple devices but you can't record two games. start both recordings just after the games started and go back and forth from one recording to another without missing a play from either game. The picture was not good on Firestick so I couldn't watch it with surround sound through my receiver. instead I had to do it through the internet on my TV to get a good picture. Also, I have good internet and it kept freezing so that really agitated me. Also, they lied and made it seem like you could watch four games at once but that's ONLY on a TV, not a phone or Ipad and you can't do it at all unless you have Youtube TV. I bought it standalone as I have DirecTV.

You're presenting that only YOUR opinion is the right one, so it would be a waste of time to debate you. Get real. PS, DirecTV automatically switches you to streaming when the weather is bad so bad weather is zero concern.

I personally found it very easy to switch between games. Just hit the back button on my remote control and all the games are right there to choose from. I have some kick ass Internet and I went with YouTube‘s unlimited streams and 4G service. The pictures excellent for me. And as far as recordings, all of the games were available to rewatch later in the day.
It could have something to do with having the complete YouTube TV service as opposed to just a standalone Sunday ticket?

are you running it on a smart TV or a regular TV through a Firestick?
