No thanks. It's all i can handle laughing at all the negativity on here after a loss. Hell, most of the time, after a win too!

Since I'm a Steelers fan, that makes Mike Tomlin "my" coach. Like it or not. Ownership doesn't much care what name folks like you give to Tomlin. He'll be coach until THEY decide he has to go.

when your second year QB throws on 84% of the offensive plays it’s never a good recipe. All the talks of a three-headed run game were thrown out the window. Heck, Ben rarely win games he had to throw so much. I doubt that was the game plan, but when the coordinator panics and draws up passing play after passing play then you’re in deep cow dung

They beat the Bengals once last season and had a lead on them in the third quarter in the second meeting. They split with the Ravens, a playoff team. They beat the Bucs, who made the playoffs. They went to the final seconds with the Dolphins, who made the playoffs.

Maybe you meant elite teams, but words mean things, so perhaps be a little clearer next time you are ranting away at your keyboard.

I think the plan was to attack with the passing game early to open things up for the running game, but then they never really tried the running game.

It also doesn't help that both an improved Offensive Line and a literal two headed monster in Najee and Jaylen cannot even get concepts to fully utilize their skills. For example, as athletic as Issac Seumalo is... why isn't he pulling?! Never mind that, why isn't either Cole, Seumalo or even Daniels hitting the second level of the defense; the likes of which Dre Greenlaw and Fred Warner are?!

I get that San Fran has a monstrous Front Four. That said though, it shouldn't be this difficult as an NFL OC to draw up plays to increase your unit's chances of success.

Unrelated I know but do you have any Chargers Friends in your neck of the woods?!

How do they feel after that shootout with Miami?! Would like to know! :)

Let me preface this by saying that I started calling for the team to move on from Tomlin about five years ago. I actually think he is among the better coaches in the league, but it was time to move on. It didn't seem like his approach was working in Pittsburgh any more. That said, rants like yours just lose me every time.

When you write childish things like referring to Tomlin as Dumblin, it is very difficult to take you seriously.

By all means, find us one example of Tomlin using or making a big deal out of the streak of non-losing seasons. Let me give you a hint. It hasn't happened. Some fans and media members make a big deal out of it, but he doesn't.

There are plenty of coaches in NFL history who weren't held accountable. Marvin Lewis was one example. There are others.

I also think you are far too concerned about who is washing his balls.

I do agree with average. I thought that going into season and really didn't let the pre-season hype sway me. Pickett is still learning. Takes time. I have no idea if Pickett will be elite in NFL. I waited out Bradshaw to Ben R. and sure hope it happens sooner. Steelers had some great seasons from other QB's we don't consider franchise. O'Donnell and Stewart gave us a few chances. Only time will tell but as for me O'Donnell and Stewart come to mind more then Terry and Ben.

Ah, lighten up a smidge on the "Dumblin" anger, you're missing the entire point...besides, Myron had all kinds of nicknames for people, did he not? You can call him Mike, Tomlin, Dumblin, Asslin, a Zero, Stoogelin, it matters not, nor do I care...what really matters is getting him out of here so we can re-correct and get back to the Super Bowl for a chance at #7.

Giving Dumblin paycheck after paycheck after paycheck and getting no results is getting real old, too...if I didn't give a **** or was on meds or remained drunk 24/7 or was some snot-nosed rah-ray yinzer, he would probably be a sufficient coach. Otherwise, it's time to start reaching out to Artie II and send him a clear & concise thought that Dumblin is NOT good enough in any way, shape, or form. Dumblin may be acceptable in most towns across the country, but not in PITTSBURGH!

Most switched loyalties to the Raiders when the team moved to LA. There are a few diehards, but usually only when they're winning. The local sportswriter refers to the team as the Judases or the squatters and Spanos as Fredo! Haven't really heard much out of any of them after choking against Jacksonville in the playoffs!:roflmao:

Who would you hire to improve things? The Giants hired Josh Allen’s coordinator and look where they are. Washington hired the Chiefs guy and hey struggled with the Cardinals. Patriot Bill has stunk it up for several years, is he terrible like Tomlin. The fact is, you have to have a talent to win. You can’t coach a block of wood. You have to have good players. Why have we not brought Reuben Foster in yet? I know he’s crazy but he is a solid athlete living it Pittsburgh. Why is Levi Wallace even here?

Understanding we are trying to develop a very young QB and score points in a scoring league, I would lean towards either Dorsey or Leftwich, without question. Pony up cash, give them control, and they'll be on a plane to Pittsburgh, too. If not, my suggestion to our beloved Organization is to find the next Emperor...a young, hungry coach, needing a chance...and a total student of the game. The next Noll is out there, we just have to find him...what we do know, though, is Dumblin is NOT that guy. If Chuck was still alive, I'm not even certain Dumblin would qualify to be his secondary coach, truth be told.

The Dumblin apologist are out today & are truly against hiring another coach, sure, but you have to wonder how many more seasons of not getting a playoff win even they can absorb...sooner or later, they're gonna call BS! :icon bs:

We don't necessarily have a Tomlin issue as much as a Rooney issue. Organizations goal, it seems now, is winning records vs rings. Eagles fire a SB winning coach after a couple of years yet are right back in it. I doubt the Eagle fans were saying "but who would you hire to replace Pederson?" Obviously, they are out there. And this is not really a good time to start thinking about what should have been done in the past but rather what needs to be done now and the rest of the season. There will be a time when the full body of work is done for 2023 and this can be brought back up. Nothing will change mind you but now is not the time. Focus on the Stains is the priority. JMO>

Mocking you for posting childishly or asking you who you want to replace Tomlin isn't being an apologist for him. It is demonstrating the weakness of your argument.

Call me crazy…but if TJ’s strip sack comes in their first offensive series, that’s a different ballgame. It just got away from the boys…that stuff can snowball.
