I lost a lot of respect for Kenny. His after game interview was disgusting. “We” “We” “We”. I’ll call him little We We now. Not once in his after game interview did he take some type of responsibility and say “I”.

Big Ben would have repeated over and over he needed to play better and blame himself without throwing the whole team under the bus.

The whole offense sucked, with the possible exception of Diontae Johnson. Johnson should have had a monster game, Pickett missed him twice on potential big plays. I don't have a problem with him talking about the entire team needing to play better. They do. We doesn't exclude me. I didn't hear what he said as throwing the team under the bus so much as being honest about the entire team's play, including his own.

I didn't hear the interview but, sounds like he's right. With the exception of JJ, "we" need to do most everything better!

Pickett played like hot garbage sure. But name any other offensive player who didn't? The offensive line was offensive, almost zero running lanes, the receivers were no help into coming back to the ball. Oh and the offensive coordinator is pathetic.

He’s not wrong though. The entire team was bad. The only two positives were McFarlands kick returns and TJ Watt. That’s it.

Let’s not practice some revisionists history though. Early in Ben’s career his interviews consisted of I in wins and We in losses.

 

Just to be accurate. When he was asked about timing. He said no it wasn’t a timing issue. Just need to be better. When asked about the pass rush he said need to get the ball out faster.

 

Maybe he should take a look at the movie, "Major League" where the rookie is given pointers on how to talk to the press.

 

There is a time to the light the fire in your teammates by calling them out, but game 1 when you played terribly is the time to say I need to get better. The offense starts with me and I had a bad game.

He is right and there was nothing wrong with what he said. He is still talking in general, you know the Team. If you wanted to get specific and point out teammates he could have but he didn't. He could name everyone but TJ Watt and he would be right.

 

This is a perfect example of why I always ask for a link. The vast majority of the time when someone posts a synopsis of an article or something they heard on tv/radio it rarely matches up with what was actually said. Big Kem did use we a lot in the presser, but it wasn’t all we.
