Their defense owned the Steelers Offense!
Their Offense owned the Steelers Defense!

Their Fans were plentiful, Loud, and made the game feel like a Home 49ers game!!!

It’s a shame and I’m pissed!! I’ve been a part of many Steelers away games where WE Took over the Stadium BUT Never seen another team OUT Show and OUT Voice our Stadium!!!!!

I mentioned this in an another thread but these were orig Steeler fan tickets sold online?

How many games you see where Steeler Nation transplants..etc...,takes over the stadium and the town hotels.

If you pay attention to the NFL, the 49ers fans show up to most road games just like Steelers fans do .

Are those your normal seats or did you move down? Thought yours were up top.

Obviously most of the Steelers fans left by that point.

    Yes normal seat

Although sometimes I have gone higher up just trying to get a good crowd shot and sometimes I go two sections over to the 50

He had those seats before the stadium was built.

I’m in the front row where no one can stand in front of me and the end of the row

Therefore there are literally only 4 other sets of two seats in the stadium I would trade for and they are just a bit closer to the 50

That’s what happens when you’re irrelevant and just pretending you’re competing for a title.

For me, this hurts worse than the loss. I'm used to seeing a few opposing jerseys here and there, and I don't even like that, but this is truly embarrassing.

The Steelers reserve the row of seats in front of me and various players buy them for friends and family

    Today was the Herbig family

One wore 51 jersey one a 71 jersey and a third had 51 on the front and left arm and 71 on the back and right arm

This is the norm the past 8 or so years it seems. I go to 1 game a year and if I lived in Pittsburgh I'd be at everyone. It's a shame seeing all the yellow seats.

They came into our home ate our food, took our wife, and packed a lunch for them on the way out submissive to our master overlords thanking them for a good spanking.

I don't know, maybe times are tough and fans are selling tickets because they need the dough... hard to believe a home opener would be like that?

You’d have to pay me to go see the Steelers in person total garbage for years. Zero chance of SB and about 5% chance of playoffs

Stubhub has made this a lot easier. It's how I buy my tickets since I started going to games. Sellers have no clue who they're selling it to. It is what it is and truly doesn't bother me much. I think there's a heck of a lot more things to be concerned with than ticket resales and a fan base coming in snatching up tix.

Sometimes I wonder how many Steelers fans travel super long distances to go to games in Pitt?

Could they fill the stadium with just the local population fans?

Cost of travel is a big issue, if team is not playing well people will cut it out of the budget.
