Dan Moore did what a pro is supposed to do. He worked hard in the offseason to improve. I'm happy for him, he earned the job.

 

And it only took him 3 years in, kudos.

Exactly, 3 years of preparing for camp, working out and getting stronger before camp begins. In his THIRD ATTEMPT of preparing before camp, he apparently improved his shape. Kudos. It's his his THIRD year.

Jones only started one season in college, he still has some things to work on, according to the local media Moore was better than Jones in camp and it has nothing to do with some rookie thing .

 

He was a Rookie! Then LAST year, was year 2...Why all the Dan Moore hate, He's played well...It was Dotson, Green, and the RG (. before Daniels ).who sucked, and they addressed it

I have no idea where you got that assertion. I never stated that, but I am stating it took him 3 pre-camps to finally come in "in shape" according to the commentator/media. Why did it take him 3 to become more serious about his job? I do not know.

 

I don't hate Moore, but I dislike a below average LT playing as the starter for my team. Has he developed beyond below average? We shall see. Up to now, he's been below average.

 

Most quality offensive linemen have to reshape their bodies at the pro level. That he made a dramatic improvement for this season doesn't mean that he didn't make any improvement before last season. Seriously, you really should stop writing fiction on this board in your search for something negative to post. You don't do it very well.

 

That is an assertion that he didn't do the work before his first two seasons. It is implied in what you wrote. Now you are stating that Moore didn't take his job seriously the last two seasons through the use of a rhetorical question. It is also yet another thing you posted that is not supported by evidence.

I expect Jones to start at LT in the Steelers short/jumbo packages from game 1.

Right now Jone's excells at run blocking, and pass blocking against a bull rush. He needs to work on his footwork and his hands to become a top LT in the league. AKA.NFL experience.
