Everybody knows that Art's mom and Kenny's mom were both moms, so they got THAT connection.

#7 Lombardi trophy. Chiefs and Mahomes....I don't hate you with the passion I did for Brady and Patriots, but there will be a reckoning. Chiefs have the bullseye on them. I fart in their general direction.

Add me to the list of those who want to know where he is getting the idea that Pickett was Rooney's choice. Colbert and Tomlin knew Pickett very well and Tomlin sure as hell looked excited about getting him the night he was drafted. I'm sure Rooney was part of the conversation, as he is with every first-round pick, but I think that was a group decision. I've never seen evidence that it was Rooney.

All Colbert and Tomlin had to do was look out the window to see him

Pickett just had to learn to walk in a different door

You might be all alone on this one

If Pickett does well and we miss the playoffs it will get ugly here

yea, I mean if the O is scoring and moving with tremendous growth, and the D falls apart then it still is going to get ugly, but there won't be blame on KP if he balls out, but I do not think that will happen.
The poster who wrote by the end of the 2nd year a team should know, and I might agree. If KP shows great improvement this year, then you are more likely to continue trying to build around him, at the end of the third year you have to make decisions, you have to either commit to the 5th year option..which is not cheap, if you do not pick it up then its saying the org. is likely going to be looking in other places. What may happen is regardless of performance this year, taking a look at QB's in the 3rd round or so, the class is deeper next year and if someone falls it never hurts to invest in talent. A year to develop and you have 3 years of possible quality if KP falters or gets injured, or another MR to argue about. lmao

    Super Bowl.

If not this year then next.

But a playoff win over the Jets would be glorious.

*Note - I live in NYC with these loudmouths. They are second only to Cowboys tards except without the hardware and years upon years of insignificance. If they had more trophy’s than the one from ancient history carved into wood they would be truly unbearable. Very similar to the chihuahua gang over in Cleveland. Unsupported bloviating just makes them the punch line.

So, yeah, I’d really like to stomp them and their woody woodpecker lookin QB. We will handle all the turds in our division before that.

    1. No tvs broken

    2. Embarrassing drunken blow ups kept under 5

    3. No cops called by neighbors due to excessive noise coming from the "crazy Steeler fans" house

    4. 11 drunken, naked neighborhood streaks. 1 per win

    5. Beat the f**king Patriots. I'll be at the game.

    6. Don't piss the wife off by being a dick. Probably should have been the first one

Player growth and a playoff win. Steelers historically kinda exceed expectations when people are overlooking them, so it wouldn't surprise me to see them in the AFC Title game.

Nope. Tvs can and have been broken in October, November or December.

Most exciting off season in a long time. I really appreciate what the organization has done regarding roster turnover and construction. Glad they are starting the regular season against a Super Bowl contender. My feeling is if the team goes 10-7, makes the playoffs and wins a round, they are well on their way to SB contention.

History and common sense. After Big Ben was such an obvious success, the Rooneys came out and admitted they mandated that draft pick. No denials have been made about Rooneys being part of the 1st round selection. Art came out and admitted that there was no way they were gonna risk Pickett turning into another Marino case, where a QB from PITT ended up being drafted by another team and excelling for that other team, taking the QB that was in the Steelers' own backyard. So Kenny was a Rooney pick, although they aren't bragging about it until/unless he becomes a mega success, then I'm feeling we will hear about it, as we did with Ben.

The bar tab alone each week makes that a hell no. Plus, watching the game in a public setting only reaffirms how stupid some fans are. At least at home when I drunkenly blurt out something stupid, there's no one but my family to hear it. And they're well aware of what they're getting into.

There is a difference between opinion and just making up stuff and quoting it as truth

If I post you have 6 toes on your left foot that is not an opinion (I assume) it is bull****
