Nothing that a good pass rush can't fix.

Let's not forget it was Tomlin who forced the offense to be so simple last year, he has acknowledged that. He has also said this year the offense will open up more and allowed to make more splash plays. Let's see what unfolds.

with the latest two additions to the secondary, the arrow is pointing up for that part of the team as well. king and brown if he's healthy will be great additions. solid team all around. yes if KFP stays healthy, but as for the other two, we haven't seen them with these starters either. they will look quite different as well with this group. i just hope it doesn't come to that.

I don't think our backup QBs are all that much worse than the average NFL #2-#3's out there. Their ceiling may be a tad lower than some, but on paper they are at about the same level as average. That being said, you are right and we don't go very far without Kenny playing.

That's why Tomlin is recognized at a creator of men and heralded as a top coach in the NFL.
Heck, even in HOF speeches recently and i suspect more to come.

People both our backups aren't very good, and remember this......64 different Qbs played last season. Not all were because of injuries, but a whole hell a lot of them were.

Brown is indeed interesting. The Achilles from last year might be concerning, but we are not looking for all pro, just better than Pierre lol. Deke out up King's numbers against Cam Sutton and King was actually slightly better. Not to say he is better, IDK, but the price is better.

It's all in the comparisons, right now we are better than New England, their QB room is quite empty. lol

He came off the bench and won the Buccaneers game IIRC.

Baltimore. I don't like their starter, but I like their backups, Colts, Dallas, and Broncos jump to mind without thinking.
    All better backups

He also came off the bench, and threw 3 ints, and lost the Ravens game. Throwing 3 ints is the last thing You ask a backup to do.

if Brown has healed, which is possible, this will make us deep at the position and create competition amongst the group. The king move I really like. Having them all mesh will be the hardest part.

All inside the red zone. And we lost by two. And we missed the playoffs on tie breakers.

I'll give you Minshew, but you think highly of the rest and you claim to know something about quarterback play? lol

Since this thread has somewhat become a discussion on NFL backup QBs, I think the QB situation in Tampa is interesting. Baker Mayfield actually made the Browns resemble a functioning football team for about 2 seasons. Even won a playoff game. I am a bit curious to see how things go for him in Tampa with Dave Canales as OC. Canales seemed to do wonders with Geno Smith last season. I am one of the few that doesn't think Baker stinks as a QB, just gets in his own way too often. And in order to stay within the flow of conversation, I would rather have Baker as KP's backup over Mitch or Mason.
