Not sure, but I would e happy with Zappe in his place if they do move Rudolph.

I doubt it too, but I thought it was a good opportunity for an obscure joke.

Hope he gets traded there, we owe them for the move up in the draft last year, plus seeing a lot of Colbert's recent draft picks off the team makes me almost excited as a 15 year old seeing Farrah Fawcett for the first time.

Though honestly at 64 I forgot what to do with that excitement.

I'm surprised the Patriots released Bailey Zappe, they will probably sign some scrub like Brian Hoyer to be their backup QB.

No one was interested in Rudolph when he was a FA. I have a hard time believing the Pats will give up a draft pick for him now.

I’d take Dobbs over what we have at BU but I agree the Cardinals situation is a dumpster fire.

Ok I'm going to say something controversial and would expect some mocking over it but will throw this out there and see how it flies. First Occam's razor tells us all things being equal the simplest answer is usually the correct one. Mason wanted to try free agency and knew he wasn't in the Steelers long term plans. He made a small statement about being done but ends up signing a 1yr deal with the Steelers. Everyone assumes that he never got any offers or interest and that 31 teams said no, because it's the simplest answer. However is it true? Perhaps Mason and he agent were realistic to know he wasn't getting a starting job and any team that had him 4th or 5th on the depth chart meant he was likely getting cut. So what if he got offers that were potentially a worse situation than he was in where he was never going to be the guy? Why uproot your family(he got married right?) Only to be a cut or be again a 3rd string emergency QB in a different town? Take the Steelers money, sell your condo and look for a nice place to get on with your life's work.

Ok there I threw it out there vomit style let the mockery begin.

that blows my mind, they have no one on the interior line as it is. Do they want stroud to make it past his first game??
