Steelers had a “team building” day today. Hope they let him attend before they canned him.

But I’m agreeing with you that he makes the practice squad

Think he is pretty close. Gentry, Pierre (though he addresses this) are the maybe/maybe not.

Dotson being traded gives some room on that O-line for depth guys. Maybe green gets cut as well though.

Without Dotson, and an injured Herberg, I am not happy with our Depth on the O-Line at all right now.

Unless Khan has something up his sleeve, he may have just undone all the Offseason Moves he did to rebuild the O-Line. Dotson's $2.75 million was an easy Cap figure to take for a Backup LG and RG.

With Herbig on the sideline, right now Kendrick Green is back in the starting lineup if there is an injury upfront; And then all that hard work the Steelers did to rebuild the O-Line is gone.

Seumalo made Dotson a trade bait guy. Nate should be fine as well since he still has 2 weeks to heal and be ready after sitting out these 2 weeks.

Anderson may make it to the practice squad or 53 depending on what they do with Green. So, there's some buffer there, but we still don't know what Herbig can do since we haven't seen it.

Green actually showed as decent in his snaps at Guard, probably where he needs to stay if he's going to make it in the NFL. Was on the ground still, but ended up not getting pushed backwards from there.

question is will he weaken the spot he is put in or weaken the players around him as well. i just don't see the upside of keeping him and having to put in the extra coaching he still hasn't improved from up until now. heaven forbid we need to use him. i'd spend the extra coaching on anderson and whomever. 3rd round pick isn't that big of deal that we can't live without him. that shouldn't even be something they feel badly about. bush and claypool were delt and we spent more draft capital on them. his draft status shouldn't even matter to them.

Surprising this early, but I guess they think Kwiatkowski has more special teams value, and his injury isn't that significant.
Or else they're just going to roll with 4 ILBs.

Khan has “undone” all of his O line offseason moves by trading Dotson? Is that maybe a tad bit over dramatic?

I thought Muse showed more on special teams and on defense than Kwiatkowski, but I guess they disagreed.

Maybe that's the best technique for Green. Just flop to the ground and hope the defender trips while trying to jump over him.

Yes, I'm not shocked, but Muse 'seemed' to have more versatility on the field playing as a linebacker and seemed OK on special teams. I'm not even remotely qualified to make in depth judgments, but Muse seemed in line fo sight to do the job.
