we ran the damn ball 15 times. why would you run your injured qb on a called play? why did we empty the backfield on 3rd and 2?

anyone that thinks this offense has run smooth this season is blind as a bat. who gives a rats ass what tim hasselbeck thinks? they are also talking about the bad playcalling by todd on mike and mike. i have seen way to much of this same crap all year. i was never high on haley to start with and think i was right from what i've seen so far. alot of the reason he has not lasted anywhere he's been. oh boy, he was a ball boy here. so what we don't need ball boys , we need a coach that has a plan and makes it work.

this team is a friggin mess. the offense has no flow what so ever. we can do better before our qb retires. if you can't see it i'm done talking about it with you all. you sure can't say with a straight face that you think this offense has looked good at any point this season. FTHI.

I just don't get it Ben man's up and says the loss is his fault. Then blames the play calling? I'm not liking how this season is winding up. Ben should quit being buddy buddy, with some of these guys. He did get pissed at Dwyer yesterday for running the wrong play. But, he never gets on his WR"s at all for their mistakes.

to me the problem is ben can't sustain a sofisticated game plan , haley had his bad call but when he send the right play maybe ben is slow to execute or miss people wide open , on the miller td he was scrambling around and pump fake when he had a couple of wr open for the first

I had a problem with the play call choice on second down in over time. You hit Heath for six. 2nd and 4. Why not call a run play?

Hard to say. They've turned the ball over so many damn times I don't think we've had the chance to see what the offense is supposed to look like under Hailey.

there is a reason he scrambles and i've talked about it for years. the o-line is constantly breaking down way to early. it's mismatched for what we try to do.

To me it's more that Ben can't run the plays that are called. His sandlot football style has over taken his ability to read a defense. The second down in over time is a head scratcher to me but the ball should have never been thrown to that spot.

ben continually sees the breakdown of the line. he also has a bad habit of trying to do it all himself after so long. he knows his line can't block, so he tries to make something happen and forces the ball. terrible offensive flow.

I thought I heard him say "I called the wrong play"? And maybe Haley deserves some heat anyway, what the hell was that play where he ran Ben? That was freaking stupid. Theres blame to go around, no one is immune to it, this is why we suck.

The point in my question about who was calling the plays is that Ben is pointing fingers as the coaches saying it was a bad game plan, but look at what we did in those last 2 possessions...

With 1:47 left on the clock starting at our own 20. Who was calling those plays? Ben or Haley? We would have been in the hurry up.

Getting the ball first possession in OT we go no huddle. Ben goes to Heath, someone he apparently just remembered was on the team, then throws the SAME EXACT INT that Lefty threw to Plaxico about 3 weeks ago. A lazy out pattern to the side of the field.

That was a read option. So it was Ben's decision to run there.

We're Arizona with Ben. What games have you been watching? How many rookie QB's are there in the last 2 years that are playing better than Ben now? Redskins rookie qb Cousins starting his first NFL game threw for 339 yards against the Clowns. I bet you Ben won't do that well . Sad to say, Ben is stagnate and not/won't get any better than he is. I got off the Ben bandwagon a couple years ago. He disappointed me one to many times.Sometimes it takes people longer to face reality. Just my 2 cents.

Late game fumbles to cost the game. AB is starting to make that a bad habit.

Why not run Ben? Ben is a very mobile QB, why not design a misdirection play and try to get the 1st with Ben running? The Pats call designed run plays for Brady at times, why not Ben?

I hear you, but are we sure this happened in that game? I think Wallace has been making an effort to turn up his game. The other points... yes... AB tends to like the fumble the game away late. Raiders, anyone? Too bad he's already getting all that money...

Because the guy is 2 weeks removed from returning from a serious injury. As it turned out he took a serious hit there and was holding his shoulder. Whether that was Bens doing or Haleys, idiotic.

Wallace DEFINTIELY lost focus on that INT! He didn't even know the ball had been picked!!! Also I don't know if anyone actually SAW Ben making these remarks but did anyone else think he had been crying? I do.

I agree, here. How many different ways can you give the same explanation for a loss everybody was watching? :lolol:

For one the Patriots' offense is on a whole other level compared to ours. The Pats can pass to their hearts content and throw in a run just because they feel like it. The way the Steelers have been playing I wouldn't be surprised to see them start celebrating 1st freaking downs.

Glad to see others recognize this... I was arguing this point when FBAI was popular... the players are in position... they're not making the plays

Yep. There's an undertone in most of his interviews when there's a controversial question.
