Pouncey and Roethlisberger were extremely close. I love Pouncey's loyalty, but it also makes me not trust what he would say in defense of a friend.

In 2005,Ben had a bad super bowl but the steelers would not been in the super bowl if Ben would not been great in the 3 ROAD playoffs game....Every team who won mutiples super bowl with the same core had a very good defense(top 5-10 defense)...Every team outside of the current chiefs team of course

 

Just his tackle alone after the legendary Jerome Bettis fumble saved the day. It's amazing how far the Ben hate goes. They can't even be intellectually honest about how important he was to winning. They wouldn't have even made the Super Bowl if it weren't for his play.

Bettis gets no crap for it, but everyone pretends Ben didn't save their asses with that tackle alone. He also played great in all playoff games, but especially against the Colts and the Broncos. But that's OK.....his defense carried him.

I’m general, as fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers, we have less to complain about than 30 other NFL teams, and maybe all 31 depending on how you feel about some things the Patriots did with the rules during the Brady era.
Because all complaining is relative. You can only be mad or happy relative to your team’s success compared to the opponents. So not only has Pittsburgh won, it has done so with extreme consistency and stability, which means we are emotionally engaged as fans every year. One owner and only a handful of GM’s and coaches over time. The Steelers are the most stable organization in all of sports.

If we are allowed to piss on a 2 time Super Bowl winning QB or GM, then how do all the other teams feel about their respective teams? Logically a lot worse than us.
