Haley to Arizona ?

my problem with this offense is that whenever something seems to be working they go away from it.

yesterday the Cowboys could not cover Miller yet they stopped calling his number.

also they need to stop running the bubble screens or screens of any kind. they are the worst screen team in the league.

 

What ever happened to bunch formation? Is it just me, or do they not do that as much?

 

we are keeping plays in the pocket ... for next season

 

Haley and the Steelers against the AFC west.

not sure if its been brought up, but its kind of funny that the Steelers went 1-3 against the AFC west this year and that 1 win was a squeaker.

i guess that kind of shows you that Haley pretty much just sticks with 1 game plan no matter who his players are. the AFC west teams new exactly what the Steelers offense was going to do.

Carr the DB that made that OT int said he new that play was coming.

another example of the Steeler coaches not making in game or weekly changes depending on their opponent.

in the admission that I am going to make this post and walk away, and with the realization that I will open a can of worms by saying this-

If Haley goes to replace Whiz in AZ, then why not bring Whiz back as OC?

 

This usually happens when the O-Line is having trouble and Miller must stay to help block the opposing D-Line.

True. The WRs are not strong/heavy enough to block. Young Money gets manhandled in the run game.

 

It's fairly well documented that Whiz and Ben didn't get along at all. Also I really can't see Whiz coming back to work under the guy that got the HC job he wanted.

 

I find it funny that people are giving Haley a pass on the things that Arians was crucified for. Our running game is worse, while part of that is injuries design has a fair amount to do with it as well. WR screens? Haley actually calls more of them.

 

everytime they try that bubble screen its just a waste of a down. why not just run the ball when they get the urge to call the screen. i watch other teams run that screen and it almost always picks up 5 - 10 yards. the Steelers run it and they are lucky to get bak to the line.

 

with every pass play with 3 wides and a TE you have at the minimum 4 reads , the QB determines where the ball goes not the OC at that point ... Ben has to make the proper read it is on him and he owned it .... what sucks is it even came to that .... we should have been up by 10 perhaps 14 with less than 6 min left in regulation and and instead we get beat in OT
