Maybe it's only "A 3 hour tour, a three hour tour".

I was always more of a Ginger fan but either one would be great to be stranded with.

This is a much bigger boat that the Minnow. Too much competition on this cruise. You only had to worry about the professor on the island the first time. :smiley1:

If only I can be on an island with Jeannie. I would even stay in the bottle if I had to!

    She was amazing!

I imagine you would be the most sought after...or the most avoided. After listening to conversations about Steelers, you suddenly pull a like sticker and put it on their forehead. Old habits die hard.

Always thought that James Dean line was so cool. "Die young, leave a good looking corpse." Then I hit 35 and didn't think it was cool at all. I'll take old and ugly any day:)

I been in Mexico and Key West when cruise ships pulled in. I assumed the locals would be happy to have the $$$ coming to town for a day. Turns out both places said they did little for the local economy. I watched the people come off the ship, walk around a bit, maybe buy a cheap trinket and then go back to ship to eat. Talking to some of the people, it seems most had little desire to get off the ship except for very short time. I have family members who never leave the ship. This is why I am not a cruise person. I love swimming in those awesome waters, not a swimming pool on a ship.

I always tell them goofing around that I only sail on a 425 foot ship, on the North Sea in winter with 20-25 foot waves. USN and I loved it. Put me on that ship today and I'm crying like a little girl.

It was the worst. Seven day cruise, 3 stops.

St Maarten, we had eight hours there and it was beautiful.
Puerto Rico, we had six hours. Our excursion sucked.
CocoCay Bahamas, extra sucked. Basically an overated water park.

I will never do another cruise.

"Newlyweds and nearly deads"! Back in the early 80s, a cruise ship would stop in Cabo San Lucas, at most, once a week. A friend of mine told me he and a buddy would always go to the hotel Solmar on cruise ship day and go "granny grabbin'"
I went on a cruise last year. Bit of a busman's holiday.......
