I ask because it doesn't say 'loud noises', It specifically says 'extremely scared of fireworks'. that doesn't sound like some type of PTSD. Could be though, which is why i asked.

Depends on what you want to be. LOL I can think of many things I wouldn't want people to be but unfortunately, they're in the news and read about it every day. JMO>

 

That's a fair question that most wouldn't make the distinction on. Fireworks always say loud noises to me but you are right it might be an uncontrollable fear that has nothing to do with noise.

 

The last few years on the board on I have really tried to live by the motto be the change you wish to see. However there are days when I'm put that to the test.

Maybe you don't know a veteran with severe PTSD, a special needs person that can't handle certain stimuli, or have people in your life with anxiety issues. If so, you're lucky. To not even consider that you are being a complete jerk to someone with real problems is sad. The fact that you can't see that or don't care says a lot about you....and not in a good way.

They don't shoot fireworks off the endzone sections I believe, just on the sides that are covered.

 

I never responded to the OP, my first post was responding to another poster, the rest of the posts were for you and others, who after taking shots at the 'questionable' posters, were patting themselves on the back and agree to each other what wonderful humans they are. You all overrated and made this thread about yourselves.

 

I never posted you directly. A few of us just commented that we wish people would handle this a lot better.

It was you that quoted three of us to criticize us and had to shine that bright light on yourself as you doubled down and called us out directly. Anyone that wants to go back and read the thread can to see how it went down. All you had to say was, you know what...I didn't really think about it. I was just trying to be funny.
