Hey Steelers fans! We are coming to the Ravens game in October and I was reading yesterday that they do pre-game fireworks an hour before and 30min before game time. I am extremely scared of fireworks. We are sitting in 516. Where do they go off? How long do they go for? Is there a place I can go inside the stadium to get away from them? Do they shoot them any other time during the game? I will be coming with headphones. Any help is appreciated. Here We Go!

They are just a quick boom, one hour before kickoff at noon, then one 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Its not a firework show, it will last 5 seconds at most. They do it to get fans into the stadium faster so there isn't such a big rush in at one time at the gates. Weather it work or not, is up for debate.

Its a day game don't expect much for fireworks, night games are a different story. They usually set them off, on the upper sideline sections.

Its really fast don't worry its not like its a Walt Disney Fireworks spectacular or something.

Sorry that happens to you. But I'm proud of you for learning before hand how to handle it.

I have a lot of military friends who go thru it. A lot of them generally get better with doing EMDR type therapy.

My kids don't handle loud noises at all with their sensory issues. Clapping in an enclosed space like a room causes them to cover their ears. Me personally I don't like ppl but love a large crowd you can disappear in so go figure.

Agreed. Most people wouldn't be brave enough to reach out looking for a little guidance to help him get through a personal issue that causes anxiety.

There's no reason to belittle the situation. I just don't get people sometimes.

Some people do have issues with loud noises, such as gunshots or fireworks, or my wife when I return home late from a round of golf.

Oh, like people always post like adults in the threads I've been reading since being on this board. Come on, brand new poster, first posts here, seems suspect. Anyway, if a prince who you don't know sends an email needing to get a huge sum of money out of their country and urgently requests your assistance, in return for a sizable share of the treasure, this could be the pot of gold you've been waiting for :smiley1:

I would rather assume that someone is being honest and straightforward that has a real issue and be wrong and feel like an ass, than to assume someone is messing with me and treat them like **** and confirm what an ass I am.

    Congrats
