ben jones is 34 years old though. maybe for a season. my thoughts were matt skura. both have starting experience and know the position well. both can help anderson with the position as well. we have used 3 centers in a season a few times. green offers nothing at that position. you lose the middle of the line and it will cause problems galore.

 

I agree. I was really expecting to see Green be better, but I was wrong. I hate to see it because I thought He was expected of too much His rookie year.

 

Coaches need to end the Green at center experiment. If he’s a talent worth keeping then let him go back to his natural position of guard. Otherwise let him go and see if he can latch on somewhere else. This is doing nobody any favor

 

Green was also awful and unplayable at guard last year in the preseason.He is just not a NFL caliber player

 

We could still use a safety in my opinion. I like the gigantic safety from the U, James Williams. 6'5" 215 and runs a 4.45. Mock drafts now have him mid-second round but he could move up with a big season.

 

he played guard all of last preseason and stunk it up there as well. time to cut ties with him.

Call me crazy but I think Green is just the right man for the job in helping the Annexation of Puerto Rico into a dominant play in the NFL, especially now with some ypc and yac under his belt he's a runner. Just one time is all we need.

No more excuses for the Steelers in the red zone, they have some new targets in Washington and Robinson, now they just need Canada to call some better plays.

I still think Nate Herbig is the Steelers backup center, Dotson is th backup guard, ad Jones is the backup tackle.

 

herbig is hurt right now. better have one ready, well two ready at least. especially if they cut green.


this may throw a clinker in mcfaddens value too. it may come down to who pass protects best. not sure anything is set yet at either spot past one and two for the RB's and one for center.

I know Matt Williamson is really high on Anderson. Says, he's a definite keeper. His versatility and athleticism are very good traits.

I think he'll be our backup center.

 

not sure if he will be but he is a keeper. should make the 53 because i don't think they will chance putting him on the PS.

 

Rob Gronkowski said that Washington simply can't be covered in the RedZone. Gronk went onto say that when he played that was his specialty and Washington is even bigger than he is.
