Exactly same for Me, but I have seen players get better.....so I'm hoping for that. If We drafted You...,and You are wearing that Steelers uniform.....I hope for success no matter what.

I would love to see McFarland develop into a useful player. Warren already proved that he is one.

You don't see a difference in a power back like Najee and Warren, and a receiving back like McFarland or Leveon Bell that can motion to the outside and setup like a WR.

It is a game changer if you have a back that can start out like a RB, and convert into a WR on the fly.

Often referred to as Thunder and Lightning backfield.

Najee and Warren don’t need a lot of reps Friday night so McFarland will

I can see already how this is going to fit into the above narrative

That you actually compared McFarland to Bell is laughable. So far, the more appropriate comparison would be Dri Archer. He has the same lack of production and the same poor instincts. He isn't quite as useless on inside runs, but he has done very little with ample opportunity.

Bell was a game-changer because he was a dominant runner who could split wide. McFarland can do the latter, maybe, but he hasn't shown that he can do the former.

Najee Harris was a good receiving RB last year... not as good as Bell in his prime, but he was good enough in the second half of '22. Hope to see him improve this year.

Good for Benny. I think he does well in a role of backup RB and good special teams player.

He played one season at Arizona State for Steelers OA Glenn Thomas who signed on there for as OC for 2022 season. Probably why he was signed. Likely PS if he makes it with Steelers.

As an undrafted rookie, Valladay was a surprising name not to be selected in the 2023 NFL Draft. In five years of school, including four at Wyoming and one at ASU, the Steelers' newest back rushed for 4,466 yards and 35 touchdowns. He ended his college career by rushing for 1,192 yards and a whopping 16 touchdowns in his lone season for the Sun Devils.

Valladay will need to outwork veteran Anthony McFarland, who holds a strong lead in the competition for the final backfield spot. If he could learn quickly and come out firing, it'll be hard to ignore the upside his resume, and a first impression can offer the Steelers.

He was very productive in college and is 6'0" weighs 200 lbs and ran a 4.43 forty. I think the reason that he didn't get drafted is that he's 25 years old and already has a lot of mileage on him because of all of his carries in college but I wish the best for him in these last 2 games and hopefully he can catch on with the practice squad.

Pretty good? He was great in the receiving game and would have been last year if
they threw him the ball. As I said in previous threads there are only so many footballs to go around
I hope Steelers Offensive coordinator knows how to use all these weapons?
