Only 5 AFC teams under .500, I disagree with that. Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part but the Jets and idiot boy under center are not winning 12 games in the AFC.

It helps that Baldy is from around Pittsburgh, and I hope He is correct.

I think they just picked the teams with the better RBs.

I thought having the talent of the Killer B's and a fairly decent OL would have been enough to get better post season success.

I think we can win 11 games this year. If we can stay healthy and no key players missing time we will be a problem at the end of the year

A lot of it depends on KP. I think there’s a good enough team around him that it’s his amount of improvement that will lead this team to the playoffs or not. I’m optimistic based on the way he could extend plays with his scrambling and was pretty accurate with his passes while on the move.

smarter in decision making than MT and a much better athlete than MR

I think everyone expected more from the Killer B's era.

I really like the current roster that they have built. I think the winning is coming very very soon.

Like the optimism but I heard similar predictions around this time last year. It is way too early, and I have no clue what this team is capable of doing. I just remember how we did without TJ when he was out last year. That's just one player. JMO>

    :lolol:

Mike Tannenbaum is a victim of Take Culture. He can thank his best buddy Skip Bayless for that. Needless to say though, even a blind squirrel like him can find nuts; Darrelle Revis in this case. D'brickashaw Ferguson and Nick Mangold being others.

Regardless though, your point still stands. This whole "Kenny Cannot Push the Ball" narrative has beaten, buried, dug up and beaten some more.

Not entirely true. Cowherd still believes that despite the graphic. The issue though is the Los Angeles Chargers are, once again, wildly stacked. Furthermore, Justin Herbert is a true Franchise QB.

Kenny Pickett has the potential to be one. Just needs to prove it this year. If there is one major caveat that Colin has been consistent (one of the few times he ever is) pertains to the health of the Baltimore Ravens. Should they sustain a high number of injuries this season... he was on record in stating that Pittsburgh would be his choice over Baltimore.

I want to live long enough to hear a player or ex-player say something like, "this team is really bad and if they win 4 games I'd be amazed."

Closest I can recall was Johnny Bench many years ago talking about the Reds. He was long retired and was in the booth opening day. He said something like, "this team is going to need a lot of things to go right and by a lot I mean a million things."

There are Bradshaw's comments about the team being a mess in early September 2018 just ahead of the regular season, follows the meltdown against Blake Bortles and Jax in the playoffs the year before.

then of course you have Bobby Layne saying the lions won't win for the next 50 years - which, curse or not, turned out to be true.
