First preseason game vs Tampa

I'll just stream it, like I do most Steeler games

 

You can watch to see if anybody on defense stood out.

 

All I hope for every preseason is that nobody gets hurt.

 

I try to save my vocal cords and liver for the regular season

 

I'll DVR it and watch it the next morning without knowing the result. Knowing the real-time result of a preseason game means nothing to me.

 

That's where you're making a mistake. Yes, save your vocal cords for the regular season, but your liver can't go into the season out of shape. It's time to get your liver into midseason shape, so get your butt to the bar!

You don't need to get your liver in shape when it's never out of shape!

 

i don't put a lot of stock in the first preseason game. there are going to be some guys that do well and then they seem to take a step back in game two every year. the one's that have been consistent through camp and both preseason games are the guys with the best chance to move on to the 53. i want to see team wide mistakes being limited by the offense, defense and specials. if they can do that for two games we may have a shot to get a good start this season. individuals will pop from play to play but i want whole units to play well.

 

I say start the 1st offensive series with Moore, Dotson, Cole, Daniels, Chuks.

2nd series sub in Jones, Seumalo, Cole, Daniels, Moore.

Maybe do 2 series with each. Then rotate guys like Green, Anderson, Herbig, Clark, and Cook. Try Moore at RT. Try Anderson everywhere. Try Herbig at OC and OG.

They have to get the OL right.

 

Seumalo will be with the first unit(over Dotson) or he will not play in the first preseason game.You don't pay 8 millions per year to play with the second unit

 

There's a joke to be made here, but this board is much too refined.

My summer Fridays are reserved for going to the races, so I'll DVR it and watch when I get home.

 

A friend of mine is gonna lose everything he has at the track. Never seen a guy so addicted. He even pays for a service that shows how the race should unfold. That service has accelerated his addiction.
