Pretty much as I'd expect at this point. Tomlin could've been cheeky and listed Pickett third again.

pre- pre-season depth chart, i see a lot of moving pieces, a good starting point but thats it, a meaningful depth chart would be towards the end of pre-season games

Connor Heyward is listed at TE and FB. He better work on FB, not sure how much TE he sees with Washington

Tomlin says every single year not to put anything into the TC depth chart(s). Every. Single. Year.

We need a backup center. KG should never play center again. Back up guard? Maybe, (even that’s a stretch) but center? Never.

mitch better not think he’s got the backup qb spot solidified.

Tomlin’s hitched his wagon to KP’s. His continued coaching career depends on KP’s success, imho.

Unless Austin develops a case of the drops in preseason, I don't see how Gunner makes the 53 man roster.

Do not make the mistake of thinking players can’t and do not improve

Green can’t play center. They’ve got him playing FB in camp.

Nate Herbig can handle the duties as well as James Danials. Your correct that Green should never play the center position again. And as a guard? Inactive all of last season as a guard. Now a fullback :lolol: Time to let him go find a new home on someone else's team or get on with his life's work.

Mitch does have the back up QB spot solidified. The reindeer has been a pick machine and seems to not even be trying. He should worry about his spot.

Less than flattering commentary on Broderick Jones

Mark Kaboly of The Athletic put it plain and simple in his latest post from Steelers training camp: Dan Moore Jr. is blowing Jones out of the water for a starting tackle spot. Jones may run like a deer and has all the measurables, but his head seems to be swimming during fall camp. Kaboly would add that if Jones plays better than Moore in preseason games, he may win out, but this isn’t good.

Nate is injured right now, so I am curious if they have the 7th round pick from Maryland, Spencer Anderson, playing center this week in camp.

Also, there may actually be a little competition for the 3rd string QB role. I read that Tanner Morgan is actually getting some reps with the offense in the last couple of days; before he was just practicing with the QBs, and then watching from the sidelines during team drills.

Personally I think we would be better off with Moore and Jones, but one of them has to learn how to play right tackle.

I suspect his contributions will be minimal but the title is unimportant. They will keep drawing up plays for him like we saw at the end of last season. Kenny speaks very highly of him.

Rudolph probably isn't too happy that he had to come back to the Steelers after receiving zero offers anywhere else. Still though you would think that he would do more than just phone it in during camp. He better excel in the pre-season being a 6 year vet playing against guys that will be stocking shelves at Walmart in a few weeks.
