I was pimping Washington to the Steelers probably more than anybody on here, more so for the fact he could be like a sixth OL on the field. And he could be a much needed threat in the red zone.

 

Just from camp highlights it seems they're taking more shots down the field, Austin could be a big play option for them.

 

Hopefully Bosa continues to hold out, and miss the season opener .

 

Pickett said he gained 13 pounds since last season.

 

well not more than i did. or 43. i was one of the first to want a TE and how it made good sense. especially washington. i was told it was strictly a luxury pick and we didn't need one. we could just bring back gentry and use heyward and we already had friermuth. this was a great pick for this team and they are building it just the way i have been talking about. a strong running game, strong defense and pick your passes when they get the match ups.

 

I wanted them to draft him with either one of the second round picks, you weren't told by me it was a luxury pick.

 

Debates over who liked Washington the most/sooner. I love where this season is heading!

If Kendrick Green is able to transform his body into a FB... that would be one helluva win for him. Again, I don't blame him for his failure at Center; Colbert and Tomlin believing he could being the primary answer. Dude only had four starts or so at Illinois.


That all said, him as a FB?! Sign me up for that!!

 

I liked him heading into his final season at Georiga! Loved him since the end of the 2022-2023 NCAA FBS Season.
