Dude was considered the Number One Offensive Tackle in his class for a reason on some boards. Granted, the differences between Paris Johnson Jr and Broderick Jones are there; Jones being more raw coming out than Johnson was but Broderick's ceiling is incalculable. All this said, dude definitely needed some coaching up to further unlock that massive level of talent he possesses. Pat Meyer has done wonders for not just him but the entire unit as a whole. If Moore and Jones are close overall in terms of readiness and knowledge of the playbook.... Tomlin should award Jones the starting gig.... again... if he can show it.

Dunno if you follow him but Brandon Thorn is an excellent NFL Draftnik who lives and breathes Trench Warfare in the NFL. Definitely give him a look.

Max Stark said it again today... Washington is 6'7" 288 lbs.

Where is Stark getting his info? I know some teams have players weigh in before and after practice to make sure they are not losing to much water weight during practice.

He is a skilled big TE. Health will be the question seems like a guy often nicked up at Georgia. TE room could be solid.

Someone asked this on the Ramon show and DK said he did not look good at the first 2 Days of practice with pads.

Both DK and Ramon said it is way too early to tell anything yet.

I have not seen anyone reporting on Makus Golden?

A lot of comments on the rookie Herbig's play and some follow up reports on TJ and Highsmith looking good, but crickets on Markus Golden.

Friday Night Lights at Latrobe Memorial Stadium tonight.

On the other side of the fence, the Greater Latrobe Laurel Valley Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the annual Steelers Fest in Legion Keener Park.

The event begins at 11 a.m. It includes food vendors, crafters, face painting, live music by DJ Dark Shark and a rock climbing wall.

The Steelers organization will be bringing outdoor games for younger fans, and players will be running youth football camps throughout the day.

One TY vid gave highlights yesterday (sorry to many and to lazy to look), he mentioned the first day of pads and the TD ratio, good. Second day sucked, like 0, but that happens. 3rd day he mentioned Gentry specifically because he had 2 TD catches, using his height as a clear advantage. I know camp, blah blah, but if they can use Washington AND Gentry in those short TD situations, along with the other weapons it opens so many possibilities. That said, it seems like a big IF for us lol.

I’m going to play off your question for the western PA old farts here

In 1982 I was cruising through Silver City Colorado one afternoon and that is a dinky town in the Rockies so I went into an old saloon for a cold one

There was a DJ playing oldies and he blurted out “I’m the platter pushing poppa” and later “The Daddio of the raddio”

    Ring any bells

He totally caught me off guard being out there

I would agree. IDK what or if there is a game plan here, but if they see and feel he is ready then you start him, the more live experience will only make him better (at least our hope), as the battle on camp goes on is there a plan B for Moore?? He has 2 years left on his contract, do they play him on the right side at all to prepare him for swing duty? And possible challenge for that side next year? This is just guessing speculation, I think he has a lot of talent, better than Chuks (?), but with every position, especially CAP management I think you take a look at both short term and long term strategies for your talent.

It is extremely hot and humid today in western pa 91 at my house
Probably over 100 heat index. Back on backers which they usually
run at Friday night lights at Latrobe HS which usually draws over 10,000
Fans should be interesting. I have been there twice and is a really fun time
Many former Steelers are usually there. It will be a hot one.
