Reporter: Mike, how are you going to fix the RedZone offense this year?
    Mike: I have no Idea.
All Reports laughing about Mike's joke...
    Mike: Seriously.

I have no idea what to make of this reported conversation yesterday in Tomlin's press conference.

The facepalm is y’all can’t talk about anything without it reverting to Tomlin. Y’all are obsessed. It’s as if tomlin getting fired or retiring will magically make you good looking, smarter, rich… nothing, but tomlin tomlin, tomlin

Yet once again. I couldn’t care less about winning a playoff game. I want Super Bowl wins. Keep clamoring for your participation trophy

I am wanting to say it was the Camp report from the Steelers with Mike Prisuta. (I watched both the pre and post shows) But, I also listened to Ramon's show yesterday.

Almost fell out of my Chair on Ramon's show when DK started actually not Hating on MAtt Canada and started talking about how creative the offensive playing calling was at camp.

Although for the source you could actually watch Tomlin's press conferences from the last couple of days.

    Don't say things I didn't say please

I mean I think now we have a good team....It's going to be very important that Kenny takes the next step and if he does, it would be very disappointing if we don't win a playoff game in the next 2 years....Yes, context matter as I said a few days ago but at some point we need some good results in big game...Tomlin is a good coach but every HC has pressure at some point....Even for Belichick, it's a big year for him

I agree but I think where we differ is the talent and readiness of the payers on this team. None bigger than Kenny which I admit is projection on my part but I feel pretty good about him after watching him all year.

But this is the route Colbert took

I'm just so overly enjoyed to the fact that which we all here have hoped for and desired for years is the simple fact of that which is us as fans are in the timeframe of which matters most that we witness the season of becoming champion again.
Tomlin wins with his franchise qb this season and then we get as fans and such get to enjoy another championship after his departure and be able to b!tch & complain that the new coach won with Tomlins team.
Oh what a wonderful decade plus yet again of being a fan of this team.

Mid 60’s is a pretty typical retirement age so it makes perfect sense that Tomlin is ready to retire in his early 50’s

I think you have it. Although if you read your Closed Caption, the wording seems to be a little out of order and doesn't make any since at all. But if you move the Um Seriously to right behind the I have no idea comment, then the next sentence makes since. " We're here to kind of discover these guys, I think sometimes when you have too hardcore of a plan..." Otherwise this is a mess

Question How are you going to fix the redzone offense.
Answer. "I have no idea". and then "Um, Seriously"

Again....I've said this for the millionth time. If We just fix the penalties in the red zone that would be huge, and He knows that.

Then continue with the rest of what he had to say. It makes perfect sense. You’re trying to cherry pick one part of his answer. You love clickbait bs

Why on earth would Tomlin answer that?

You all ask some stupid ass questions.

The funny thing is that Holcomb is better known for his all-around game and Elandon Roberts is more of a run-stuffing thumper. Both should be more physical than what the Steelers have had at inside linebacker in recent years.

I assume what happened without Watt last season is part of the thinking behind acquiring Markus Golden. The other part is they need a third guy outside who isn't useless as a pass rusher.

It is Tomlin sidestepping a question rather than giving it a serious answer.

The answer is simple but difficult. There is no magic fix for the Red Zone offense. The entire offense needs to execute better, especially Pickett. That's it. He has to make plays. Defenses are going to focus on the running game in that area of the field until Pickett proves that he can consistently make them pay for it.

Actually, players play the game. You can only fix the RZ offense by executing in the RZ. It's no mystery.

Well as head coach he should have a clear understanding of the situation. He should have had this revelation when the regular season bell went off. And made the proper adjustments. He is the supposed cog in the wheel.

We shall see if Canada can overcome his collegeness and actually call an NFL balanced offense..

The offense has been almost totally re-built. The final 8-9 games last year pretty much summed up Tomlin's coaching leadership.

Just because he is dodging the question doesn't mean he doesn't understand the situation. I'm not sure how you don't see that.

Canada is a bigger factor in the problem than Tomlin, but at some point, players have to start making plays in the Red Zone. That is probably the most important area in which Pickett needs to be better.
