Just watched a video of the injury. It was a non contact injury. It’s being reported as an injury to his calf

 

The way he plopped down in the cart, it looked like he was pissed......uh oh

 

Hope he makes a full recovery in 2024.

 

Might be no big deal, might be more..but ya got to wonder when he felt the pain it he thought, "should have taken the same money as Herbert and signed yesterday."

 

Probably just a calf strain but I imagine he'll be motivated to get a contract now. Hope it ruins their year. Loathe that fanbase.

 

That offense was jack-crap last year without Chase anyway. Not like he was putting on a clinic when he was relying on his other targets. Those guys are way elevated by Chase being on the field.

 

Not even true.It was brutal for them in the first game without Chase vs Browns but after they were great.They had 42 points and 37 points(vs steelers)the 2 games after

Bengals will be wanting Mason now

 

Bengals coach says it’s a calf strain and he will miss several weeks. In the video I saw it sounded as though Taylor said he would miss a couple weeks. However, someone asked a follow up question about the beginning of season and the response was “several weeks is several weeks”. There’s quite a difference there a couple is two maybe three, but several

 

I don't think anyone is as bad as Tua....I believe He's been hurt every year since High school.

 

Those non-contact injuries are scary.

 

Calf injuries turn into achilles injuries fairly easily with athletes. Not wishing ill on Burrow, just saying. North gets a bit easier if he's out.

No new contract for Burrow.

I know he is trying to down play it as "It will get done when it gets done".

Season starts next week, and I know Joe was wanting a new contract this year, so he wouldn't have to play on his rookie deal.
