    The Steelers signed Highsmith which I didn’t think was going to be easy or soon

    That gives me a pretty good idea where the issue is with Porter

    Right now the 14 guys drafted ahead of him all signed at least a month ago

    What’s behind him doesn’t matter

    It’s not a issue as you say…….

    Sorry, I deleted after i read the article on the other 2nd round negotiations, so it is likely more his agent. How the article explained it the other teams giving a guaranteed % is the reason for the standoff, I hate agents, lol.

    Long ago I remember the Steelers told a potential draft pick they would not draft him if he kept his agent he did they didn’t

    With that said and I forget the names but there were two agents who had a bad reputation for hold outs and wanting renovations

    The Steelers never had a hold out or renegotiation with either

    Part of it is relationships part of it is having a reputation for being fair but firm and consistent

    That’s why Porter has a problem
