Im always fiending to hear new music, or at least new to me.

 

We have one good radio station here. It’s actually college radio. At times it is truly painful listening. Years ago I guess the dj decided to take a break, hung a mic out the window, and played 20 minutes of street noise. It’s basically a collection of shows. They have a metal show, rap show, edm, jazz, classical, blues…my favorite by far is Rock, Rhythm, and Roll. One minute you’ll hear Ravi Shankar, followed by some old blues rag, and that’s followed by sonic youth. It’s the kind of station where you’ll hear a band for the first time and five years later they’re on mainstream radio.

No. The river is more of a classic rock station. There’s an hd radio station called the other side of the river that plays more “alternative” music.
