I agreed but hated doing it. I was 100% sure #7 was ours when we had Bell and Brown at their peak.

This may go down as one of the most stupid acts by an NFL player in my lifetime. Steelers were going
to pay him 14 Mill. He will never make this back up in his lifetime. Whoever his advisors were at this time
really made a huge mistake. Let's hope Najee Harris will be much smarter when dealing with the Steelers in the future.

I think he and AB should send me some cash for the jerseys I bought for my son who was one of their biggest fans at such a young age. He's grown out of those Christmas presents and they don't fit him anymore but it really was a disappointment on why he quit wearing them. Both those guys ruined their careers in an incredibly selfish way.

Anybody need a Bell or Brown jersey? Kids medium??:icon e sad:

I think everyone thought that there was a real chance to add to the trophy case in that time period. Sadly, it never worked out.

The really sad part about all of this is that it really wasn't Bell's fault in the playoffs. He balled out in the post season. One of our best players was always hurt in the playoffs. The defense would just collapse on itself. The team just didn't get it done.

Ben, AB, and Bell only played in the post season together a couple of times. That was so disappointing.

I've never seen a fanbase wear their hearts on their sleeve like this one does. I swear I gotta check for maxipads with some of you while you sit on your pedestals being judge, jury and executioner.

I believe the guy is sincere in his apology. He was young and dumb and had the wrong people around him. Wasn't Drew Rosenhaus his agent during that time? While he may get players money, he is in it for himself and has led many players astray with $ signs in their eyes. Bell was great while he was here, but a lot of his success was attributed to the O-Line. Case-in-point when James Conner picked up where he left off during the holdout.

Generally I'm in the middle with Tomlin but I too think he blew it with the cast he had. The season Jacksonville came into the Burgh and smoked us from the get go was IMO an unprepared football team. That is on Tomlin. Hell, I think we had 5-6 pro bowlers on that team?????

Kind of what this board is for. Most things on here are posters opinions. We all do it saying this guys sucks or that guy is great. I can't wait to see how members opinions of Kenny Pickett (terrible name for a QB;)) change every other game and I'm sure I'll be one of them.

Except James had limited range receiving, had average hands, and tended to fumble at the most inopportune times and wasn't the every down back that LeVeon was. There was just another level (if not 2) to LeVeon and anyone who thinks differently is just in denial or delusional.

You didn't provide any facts though which other then the year he was suspended for a few games I would like to see. You didnt even provide any links. 99% of the comments you make on here about him are personal. Don't act like they're not. Why would anyone assume you were making that statement based off of facts when you could have just been in your feelings again?? Yeah, make it make sense.

Ok I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are doing the best within your ability

So here is a life lesson

If a knowledgeable person knows the statistics don’t call them a liar and expect them to do your homework for you your teachers probably tell you this

Now try to grow from this and improve in the future

    Best wishes in high school

I think that Bell was the best RB in the NFL for a few years. I agree with your assessment of James Connor. I loved him as a person and rooted hard for him, but he was not Bell in his prime.

I don't think he was attacking him personally, but sometimes as fans we take it personally when we feel a player betrays the team. Everyone has their opinion on things. I don't think it's worth getting that worked up about a disagreement on whether he was the #1 RB in the NFL or the #3. It's not like he's saying he was awful and an average back.

i am not in the camp that Tomlin is the worst, this and that.

he is just not top tier. he cannot get this team over the top - did not do it for too long and we meandered for too many years with great talent.
