I loved Lost the first few seasons because it was so unique. I mean they spent an entire episode introducing a character and they blew him up with 15 minutes left of the episode, who does that? Then I think the showrunners kinda went off the rails in order to keep being that strange and unique show and they really lost the audience. anyways great reference.

Yeah, I was much the same. They also had budget issues in one series so nothing could happen in most episodes.

I actually wrote a chapter for a book about Lost many years back. A second edition came out and they wanted me to update my chapter, but that meant watching all the later series so I didn’t bother.

 

So do You write other stuff....I mean books other than Lost???

 

I do indeed. Mainly academic stuff, though I wrote something on The Hobbit once. And also something on sports commentator cliches.
