Camp is only 19 days away

If an extension is coming I would think it would happen during this time period

if Tomlin has a losing season. He is done. He has not won crap lately. All he has is the non losing season. Lose that and he has nothing .

Yeah, that bothered me too. Not sure what that has to do with effort on the field though.

I'm a Cowher fan, but it's a fact....He never won an away playoff game until the SB season. Why does facts make You upset???
See what???. The Bengals have been in the playoffs 8 times since Tomlin has been the HC, and Ravens 11 times.....LoL You act like this is the AFCE , or something. Again....NO division has had 3 teams in the playoffs as much as the AFC North. That in itself should tell You something.

distraction, it's well documented Ben wasn't as focused as he should have been throughout his entire career and this had to be a distraction.
No doubt Ben balled out on the field, but....

The AFC was really weak back then, maybe that had something to do with it.

The Steelers were favored against the Patriots in 2001, and gave up two special teams TDs in that game IIRC, they almost lost to the Colts in 1995 on that hail mary.

And Kordell had been awful vs Patriots. It was a bad loss but blaming Cowher on that loss is like blaming Tomlin on the loss in 2020 vs Browns when Ben was awful...The 2001 patriots also beat the greatest show on turf in the super bowl

For the almost lost against the colts in 1995, I don't see the difference between that and the super bowl in 2008 vs Arizona

The AFC in the 2000s was very strong especially in the mid 2000s

Yea unfortunately it’s been so long since Tomlin has had playoff success you could still put your socks on then.

Back in the 70's the Steelers had to play 6 games a year against some really good teams in their division. The Oilers with Earl Campbell, Ken Anderson and the Bengals and the Brian Sipe led Browns. This really sharpened them in their 4 Superbowl wins.

Fans like to blame Tomlin for every playoff loss, stupid playcalling in that playoff loss to the Patriots in 2001, on the goal line they had Kordell throwing and he proceeded to throw an interception.
