Have You ever noticed how many different vocal tracks are on this???...I can pick out a Normal singing one, a Higher singing one, a low singing one, a whispered one, and at times a screaming one all mixed together in parts. I remember the 1st time I hear this .....I was like wow. I used to take a hit, and put the headphones on ,and get chill bumps listening. LoL

A band I liked when I was younger, but didn't fully appreciate until I got older.

Let’s start the day with one of the most influential prog epics ever. Over the years I’ve read statements by many musicians talking about how much the Close to the Edge album meant to them, including this article a couple of days ago: https://www.guitarplayer.com/players/yes-close-to-the-edge

This song always draws me in, and I have to listen to all 18+ minutes once I start.

Do You know the problem with most prog bands today is???? Most people don't listen to albums straight through. They listen to a song here, and there....so for instance let's use Mastodon for the example...They miss the lead up from song to song, and the full story, or mood setting especially in concept albums. I would bet in today's microwave world most newer prog, and concept albums will never be heard.

Always wondered how the hell a guy could get his voice so high. Funny, I mixed them and Rush up a few times.
