What’s your main concern with 2023 Steelers team?

My main concern is that the team has become a self licking ice cream cone, where the only goal is a winning season to keep Tomlin’s streak alive. Thus, the pursuit of excellence has died.

Sorry. I’m as excited for our prospects as anyone, but expectations should be tempered imo. Way too many questions to start chilling the champagne. There are fans here that think every hole has been plugged and we haven’t even made it to training camp yet.

I actually like how the o line has been improved and the wr/TE corps also. I think defense will be solid with improvement in the backfield with PP and JP Jr.

my concern honestly is KP. I’m high on him but I maybe wrong. He hasn’t performed over a whole season and hasn’t faced elite teams or been to the playoffs. And he has to deal with Canadas play calling. I remember Maddox was the comeback player of the year in 02, then turned out to be very average until he got hurt and Ben took over. I hope it’s not like that, but anyway KP’s body of work is just starting and there’s reason to be positive but we can’t be sure yet

 

These types of comments are so insufferable. So ignorant it borders on the stupid. Just a complete disrespect of the entire organization.

Stay confident. I'm guessing other team fans have same fears. I golf with Eagle fans and even though they have the best QB in the NFC with what looks like little competition, they are bitching and moaning about other positions.

 

I can't see NFL players thinking along those lines.

 

Can Canada run a 21st century offense, and how well the corners play. If, and it's a huge if, the Steelers have caught lightning in a bottle with Trice, I think we could be in for a great season. I'm not mentioning Pickett, because quite frankly, I think he will be fine if Canada figures it out.

 

Yeah, you think my comment is so funny, check back when the Steelers win 7-9 games for the next five years and never make the playoffs.

 

Im still concerned with O- Line and progress of Kenny. Oh no they killed Kenny! ( in my best Cartman voice)
