anyone else have trouble signing in last coupld days?

must be all the smoke from canada.

 

He might have, even when the system was down he was liking away, he get's so busy clicking he does not even notice whats on the screen. The addiction is strong with this guy, lol

 

I got banned on the original site once, I shared a link to a game on the board (should have sent it private). I was off for a couple of weeks, begged and cried and was finally reinstated with strong warning. Then they cut the board off permanently.

 

I suspect reading this is going to make him feel all warm and fuzzy

 

Home sweet home. Nothing on the bottom of my screen, nothing in the middle of the screen and nothing popping out at me when I open a thread.

And, I have never seen a link to donate or subscribe to this board.

Every Christmas I poke on it

 

I couldn't get on for about 24 hours, which left me a little concerned that there was a bigger problem with the site. Glad to see all is well.

 

I had one of those Visa gift cards with a few bucks left on it so I donated it to this site. Never heard if they got it and I didn't receive the all important banner. TBH, I don't care. This is an very well run site so was happy to donate without recognition.

 

I figure it helps to keep me from getting booted for picking on idiots knuckleheads bullshiters and parrots

Yep...been out last 2-days...happy to be back. I was about to give up.

The Chief knows his stuff and typically let's us know about any planned downtime because he is upgrading hardware or swapping out hardware that's failing. An unannounced outage in the summer points to something crashing while he and the family are on vacation. TTF runs such a smooth site we hardly ever give a moments thought to the ease of it until something does cause a hiccup. I'm speculating here but I like Mac's blame Canada theory too.

 

Agree Mac. Back up a page or so - smoke entered the conversation along with musical accompaniment.

 

As Guido Sarducci would say about not getting the banner: "Have you ever eaten meat on Friday?" And now - "Have you ever guzzled a Bud Light?"
