With the Steelers playing so many Left Coast teams this year (which usually are televised locally) plus non-conflicting local team schedules plus several prime time games for Steelers, the YT package makes no economic sense this year to me and others on the West Coast (CA) since there may be 12 games or so televised locally in LA or on available cable channels. Even NFL+ is less of a cost benefit deal unless they drop the price again to $70 although $99 to access the 12 years of archived games is a cool feature. :hmm:

I can't miss 4 seconds of any game even though I definitely will by now having to stream them. Any time delay stinks to me. 45 seconds or more is just unacceptable for how much you will need to pay.

You know I was thinking today about just because something is new doesn't always make it better.
Take My stove for example....it's touch controls....so I have to keep touching it to raise the temperature on the oven....now My old one ....You just crank the dial....Bam , and Your there. So even though My new oven is new ....it doesn't make it more convenient. Now take the NFL ticket this Year. I would actually like to see how many people if they had the choice would pick watching it on the old way , or the new....that is after one year of watching it on both.

Wow. That’s Joe Gilliam, Rocky Bleier days.

But why are NFL so expensive. You can still get a $15 or $20 nose bleed seat at an MLB game and it’s a good view.

Maybe 81 home games compared to 8/9?

Looks like that could be a Country Flag.
Not like New Zealand's they considered with the Kiwi bird shooting lasers from it's eye but similar.

It's probably too late for the discount. It was $266. Thing that sucks is that unlike Direct, you pay it all at once instead of spreading it out.
You could keep DirecTV as well but truthfully I don't know why you would. I made the switch to YouTubetv a few months back and I'm way glad I did. Cheaper and has the same channels. Took some getting used to the guide and controls but that's nothing. Only downside would be if you lived in an area without decent internet.

I am a season ticket holder, but I subscribed to Apollo TV on my Fire Stick for away games. Its $24 monthly and has every NFL game just like Sunday Ticket.

I have DTV and love the interface. That what's holding me back from Youtube. Can I record two different shows and start them both just after they started taping and go back and forth between shows with one push of the button?

I'm not sure if you can or not but to be honest, I haven't come across the need for that. All of our programs are set ahead of time. I do remember watching DirecTV and thinking I should record this and watch it later and you can only record two things at once. I just don't seem to record as much stuff or watch as many different channels now that I have YouTube. To be honest, the switch made us trim a lot of the fat regarding our TV viewing and the channels we actually use. Should have done it years ago.

Although if Your someone like Me....1st You have to pay , get the internet , then pay for YouTube, and then pay for Sunday Ticket. Whereas before I already had Direct TV....so all I did was pay for Sunday Ticket. No hassle. Also what I've seen so far is I will have to get a satellite so I can get internet fast enough where I live. So that's......
    1. Getting rid of Direct TV
    2. Getting another Satellite so I can get high speed internet
    3. Pay for YouTube
    4. Pay for Sunday Ticket
    5. Figure out How I can still get the local stations.
Seems like a awful lot .
This Maybe the 1st time I won't have Sunday Ticket since 1997 the same year Bus got the Heads/Tales thing in overtime against Detroit.

Well I have to know.. And all you need is a firestick? Is it month to month, or do you pay a yearly $288 up front. The yearly $288 wouldn't be any better than youtube.

Are they HD games and is this legal?

I also forget how much the Overseas game pass is.

Or you could get a business license for S.T.D.’s restaurant, and serve the same dish every week when we’re winning.

Right. You're situation is different because you're a hick in the sticks. I'm a stud in the suburbs! :hehehe:
Seriously though, Dtv is a racket. We were paying so many different fees for boxes in each room and such, and I think even Sunday Ticket was more expensive on Direct. Either way, we are paying much less for YouTube tv without the hassle of all the hardware. Boxes, remotes, dishes on the roof. Just more things that can go wrong.
I was with Direct for over twenty years and usually the service was good but there were times it was horrendous and dealing with their customer service was sometimes a nightmare. Everyone has their own experiences I guess.

Jerry? Condoleezza? Or Edgar Burroughs? All quite successful. I do have a very colorful recipe book for 100+ Risotto dishes. :thumbs up:
