I'd like to see who were your favs for the over 60 crowd and the under 60 crowd. Us over 60 guys probably would list most guys from the 70 Steelers. I'd say Bettis and Troy would be only ones in my top 10 after 1980. I liked a lot of guys after 1980 but Bus and Troy would be only two to get into my top 10. Other 8 from dem damn 70 teams.

I always liked Rocky, and of course was in awe of his story. Have been watching some Steeler regular season games from 76-79 season, I forgot just how sneaky good he was.

Blount, Joe Greene, Franco, Jack Ham etc. etc. I could have listed the entire 1970's roster but I just chose 4. I could have listed dozens from the pre Superbowl teams when I first started being a Steelers fan. Guys like Big Daddy Lipscomb, Bill Saul, John Henry Johnson, Roy Jefferson, Buddy Dial and on and on.

Too many to list… as a kid in the 70’s I loved them all, but my top 2 were the Jacks. Also, in the late 70’s when the offense started to shine I became a bigger fans of Swann and Stallworth than I was earlier. I remember wanting to be a WR that specialized in circus catches like Swannie.

in modern times since the 90’s, in no particular order, Heath, Troy, Woodson, Cam Heyward, Thigpen, Big Ben, J. Peezy, Lloyd, Greene, AV, and yes, AB until he blew a head gasket.

Im sure I missed a few.

I’ll add another thing here… 10 years from now I hope to be able to list KFP as an all time favorite. If that’s the case, it probably means that we’ve had a pretty nice decade.

Brown is in the OP. I did love watching him play. In his prime, he was damn near unstoppable.

There is nobody else out there that I would put ahead of Joe Greene. By far the best Steeler of all time.

Really hard to do, but the first players that come to mind…..

Greene, Lambert, Blount, Franco, Bettis, Ward, Polamalu

I know there are others, but those are the tops for me, and it’s been a long day.

AB could have potentially been in there, but he obviously effed that up royally.
