That's funny, because you have not stated any logic to counter my logic. The secondary is replacing two starters. Are you saying the Steelers do not need Porter Jr to have an impact because of Peterson, Kazee/Neal, even though they haven't played together anymore than Porter Jr. has?

Let's hope JPJ will take advice from another former Steeler

I say under, but I would be happy if he got some PBUs, I hope he has that dog in him like his dad had.

I think this little tidbit from PFF says something about JPJ and his coverage considering all these WR are or will be 1st round draft picks...

This pick to me is one i'm most concerned about. Not worried about the interceptions.

Jr will be tested with the upper echelon receiver's like Chase. If and when he gets burned will he turn the other cheek and have a short memory or cry because he wasn't selected in the 1st round?

Was he a solid selection or just hype? Hopefully it's not the latter.

Hopefully the Steelers bad luck with selecting corners has turned the page. Sutton of late is the only homegrown talent to excel. He's gone.

You claim if Porter doesn’t get playing time we will be hard pressed to win 10 games. We won 9 without him last year. Without a few blunders we could have easily won 2 more.

Are saying the Steelers could have won 11 games last year and they could win as many without Porter really contributing this year? That sounds like a prediction to me, and you said you weren't predicting anything.

He's going into the Hall of Fame in about 18 years. Why would we need to wait for training camp?

I say over. Only because they will throw his way more often with PP on the other side, so he'll get some opportunities.

How quickly we forget Nate Washington;) He does hold two SB rings. Just goofing.

JPjr may be a lot like Ike Taylor. A shut down cornerback under rated due to lack of INTs.

I can live with that. Ike might have been our 3rd best corner in the last 50 years. I can live with it if JPJ is "only" as good as Ike was.

He’ll be over after the first game of the season. Just look back at the last time they played the 49ers.

I agree. Ike Taylor was no one trick pony. He followed the best receiver and shut them down on either side of the field. Unlike others who were viewed as better and only played one side of the field.
